Shit happens to everyone. No one is special. Do what you have to do and get over it. Whining and sniveling won’t make it any better.

no, wait, there’s hardly anything wrong with you
GET OVER IT
it could have been so much worse
you should be grateful it wasn’t
you shouldn’t open creatine in the car WHILST DRIVING
you should look in your read mirror to see if someone is going to hit you and you should leave space ahead to have some hope of softening the blow
medically you should get taken a look at and checked out just incase and you should stop the weights for a bit and do something else for rehab for a week perhaps, but get the checkup

man. i dont know what i was thinking. i should have stopped several car lengths behind the stop sign, just to give me a little room in case someone slammed into me, then, when i actually got to the stop sign, i should have just drove through it. those campus police be damned if they want to give me a ticket for not actually stopping where i was supposed to, just trying to provide a preventive cushion. and geeez, from now on when i get to stop signs, forget looking ahead and around me, ill be watching my rear view mirror from now on, and ill let whatever i see going on behind me be an indicator of when i should move my car. damn, forget that there were other people that had the legal right of way in front of me, i could have been watching my rear view mirror, seen that someone was about to slam into me, and i could have slammed my gas pedal and launched my car forward into them to avoid having someone hit me instead. you know what they say, hindsight is 20/20. and jesus, the creatine, i would say the accident definitely could have been prevented if the creatine werent involved. i mean, if i hadnt have had that bottle in my hand, and instead had my hands at 10 and 2 like everyone else in the world drives, clearly the accident wouldnt have taken place. in fact, now that you mention it, im glad the police didnt notice that i was drinking creatine in my car(oh no!) because then the accident probably would have been ruled my fault. forget that some other driver wasnt paying attention and slammed into me from behind while i was stopped at a stop sign…
is that really how you drive? you never have a drink in your car? if you did, and someone hit YOU, would you feel it was your fault because you had a drink in your car?
the last part of your post i sincerely agree with.
i just want to clear something up: i did not post to tell everyone about this HORRIBLE thing that happened to me. i got a call at 4:00am this morning telling me that there was a homicide and that someone had been stabbed. that means i had to get out of bed, shower, shave, throw on a suit and roll out. CLEARLY this dead man that i saw, with stabb wounds, had a rougher go at it than i did yesterday.
i got some sticky shit all over my car, and while i was cleaning it i was thinking yea, i should get this kid to come clean this shit up…but i cleaned it up, no big deal. my bumper is a little fucked up, but police came to the scene, accident report, kids got insurance, etc…so ill get a new bumper, still, no big deal.
i posted because i was frustrated. out of everything that i do in my life, the thing that makes me the most happy/the thing that keeps me happy at the moment, i could not do. that was my point in posting, as im sure that others have/had been in the situation and could relate.
people that are so grateful/holier than thou that are so quick to tell others they shouldnt be upset because people are worse off need to stop their preaching, get offline right now, sell their computers, as well as any other luxurious items they may have, and send the money to a mission in africa, because there are people there that are far worse off than they are.
I just realized you were the douchbag who out of the blue PMed me calling me an internet faggot, prick, fag, little twig, twerp, and internet tough guy.
But hey, my previous post sticking up for you on this thread really proves your point.
YOU are using the “holier than thou” attitude, not me, especially by throwing in the bit about getting called in about the homicide. You’re not the only one fella.
And your original post said you could cry, and your complaints were that someone hit your new Lexus (but not hard enough to do any real damage to you) and that you spilt your creatine.
No, you should not open your creatine whilst driving, that’s neg. driving down here and you’d be fined. Apart from that it is stupid because that stuff is easy to spill in the kitchen let alone the car.
And what the f$uk are you doing responding to a 4am callout and grabbing creatine on the way? (or did I read that wrong)
Yes, I do drive like that to the best of my ability, I do watch for rear-enders and I leave enough space to at least try to avoid the car in front/behind/at the side. Ever seen a truck take a corner too fast and topple over onto the cars stopped at the lights, crushing everyone to death? You cannot avoid everything but you should at least try to leave some space and not start playing silly buggers with creatine.
Having said all that, it IS a pain in the ass, all that happened to you, that is a bad day, and I’d feel pretty crappy too if I spilt creatine let alone had my new car bumped up etc… and injured. But you are bloody lucky and you should look on the bright side, and take timeout and get treated, not complain about it, and try to ignore it and continue (and possibly injure yourself first).
I am saying this to prevent you from injuring yourself, but more importantly, so you do not turn into Mr Whinge.
