I Hate Moving

Yeah, okay, I’m sure just about everybody does.

So, I’m just finishing up, sweeping up the last crap on the floor, throwing out the few belongings that don’t need to come to the new place with me.

While I haven’t been to the gym in a few days at least I have a (good) sore back from moving my entire load of furniture on my own. Thank you deadlifts anyway.

Heh, of course, the computer is the last thing to go! Anyway, time to disconnect and finish…

Are you moving in with the “blind date”?

I hate moving so much, I still have boxes packed from 7 years ago(about 4 moves ago).

Where are you moving to, Vroom?

Having just gone through this twice myself (once to temp housing, then again into the house), I very much feel your pain.

Now you get to move on to the joys of unpacking and re-organizing… and also of looking into various random boxes of stuff and wondering: “Where the hell am I going to put this?”

Makes you realize how much useless shit you own.

BB,

Ouch. I used to move fairly often. I’m already facing the “where the hell did I put that” and “where the hell will this go”.

RSG,

Yep, as a matter of fact, that’s exactly what happened!

Nice one, what are the chances, huh?

Good luck.

Shammy, no shit! I made more trips to the dumpster than I did to car.

Thanks rsg, things are going very well, this looks like the one (and yeah, she already knows that in case she reads this).

Zen, still in Ontario. I’m not saying anything specific with all these guys threatening to burn my trailer down.

Aw shit, first morning in the new place, can’t find anything, have a million things to do as well as unpack. Screw it, I’m taking a sanity day.

Congrats. Hope it all works out.

If you’d pay your rent, they would stop evicting you and you might get to stay a while.

Sell their contents on Ebay.

Damn, too clever! I was just trying to get you to reveal your new location.

All kidding aside, congrats to you man! Best wishes for you new life. And happy unpacking

I still have 3 big boxes in the garage from when I moved into my apartment 3 years ago. And the gf has countless boxes of who knows what stacked up in all 3 closets. I need to have a garage sale or something.

Yeah, so you throw it all out and three weeks later you’re like “Fuck, now I know why I had that _____” and you have to go to Walmart at 3am to buy it all again.

Good luck with the new place.

Ha! Found him!

I’d paint it first, then worry about the yard.

Yup, that’d be him alright. He left the tires he works out with outside as a tellatale sign!

Seeing the size of those tires, I suddenly understand his posts on not having results with tire flips…

So… are we ever going to hear the story about the power outage?
