I Don't Know

People look to me and say
Is the end near, when is the final day
What’s the future of mankind
How do I know, I got left behind

Everyone goes through changes
Looking to find the truth
Don’t look to me for answers
Don’t ask me–I don’t know

How am I supposed to know
Hidden meanings that will never show
Fools and prophets from the past
Life’s a stage and we’re all in the cast

Ya gotta believe in someone asking me who is right
Asking me who to follow,
don’t ask me,
I don’t know

Nobody ever told me I found out for myself
Ya gotta believe in foolish miracles
It’s not how you play the game
It’s if you win or loseyou can choose
Don’t confuse win or lose, it’s up to you

go forth and blacken the sky

Why, oh why couldn’t it have been Ozzy instead of Dio?

Dio was a mere mortal.

Ozzy, however, is the leader of the undead.

He is and will always be.

Yeah, yeah… the Prince of Dorkness.

Dio never did anything as shitty as this.

lol

I can only guess what is in ID’s white box…

Am I the only person who thinks Ozzy is overrated? He did some great stuff with Sabbath, of course, but was inconsistent as a solo artist.

Overrated is an understatement! He was just a bloke who was in the right place at the right time (Sabbath).

I’d rather die with dignity (like Dio) than continue living as a cartoon character who is led around by the nose by his overbearing witch of a wife.

lol

I died.

I liked it so much I came back.

JUST SO I COULD DO IT AGAIN.

Technically…I’ve never actually died. How would you describe it?

As much as Ozzy has been somewhat commercialized by his wife in recent years, I still go to Ozzfest every year (just got back last night actually!), and damn if he doesn’t always bring it onstage. Sure the recent albums aren’t full of great stuff, but I’d say that you’re guaranteed a good 2, maybe 3 good tracks off of each, and considering the length of his career at this point, I’ll keep picking 'em up.

This thread, in no way was ever meant to be a comparison between Dio and Ozzy.

I am a Dio fan since he was in Rainbow, if you can believe that!

But you have to admit that the first two solo albums with Randy Rhodes were good stuff.

And…he was at the right place at the right time, no doubt. But aren’t they all?

I still like Ozzy. AC/DC however…>>stabbity stab my ear eardrums with a dull awl!
