Hypertrophy Training for Neurotype 3 Hardgainer

Hello coach,

I recently taken the Neurotype test and I found out that I’m definitely a type 3 (not quite surprised about that) but with a decent 2B score. I’m also an hardgainer (so I believe I have ACTN3 XX … definitely slow twitch fiber dominant). I’ve been training for about 5 years now and it has always been pretty difficult for me to both get stronger and gain muscle/weight, thought I managed to make some small gains through the years. Hence I would place myself in the true hardgainer category.

Anyway, here’s the question: since I’m a type 3 would it make sense for me to train like a type 3? Or is it better to follow your guidelines for true hardgainers?
I should mention that I love to train with weights (weird for a type 3!?) and I’m mainly interested in bodybuilding/physique and don’t really care about strength training.
