Hypertension Issues

Hey guys
Need some help to understand my issue with hypertension

I was on 3month cycle last year till oct where i used normal dose
Sustanon - 500mg/week
Deca - 250mg/week
Dbol- 40mg/day

I did pct after that but after 1 month i ran only Dbol 40mg/day for around 1.5month

While i was on dbol 1 night i felt my heart was beating too much so i was scared of heart attack so i went to hospital and they check my bp was high which was 170/90. They tried every bp med and injection but my bp didn’t came down after 160/85. Doc said that maybe i am stressed and scared bcz of heart attack thats why bp is not coming to normal range (i didn’t tell him that i took dbol)

After that everything went well, i stopped dbol

But then i decided to start injectables again
Where i ran

Test E 250
Deca 250

Just did 1-1 shot each and felt my head too heavy this time
So i bought a BP machine and after measuring my readings were high
160/90
190/90

So i spoke to 1 of my friend
Stopped injectables
Started taking Telma 20

Still no results
Bp came down to 160/80 after few days but still high
So i decided to take Telma 40
Took it for few days
Consulted doc online
Continued Telma 40
But bp was still 160/80

Then i decided to see a doc in person
He told me to have some tests done

Lipid profile
CBC
LFT
KFT
HOMOCYSTEINE
2D ECHO

Results were quite bad

Lipid profile:
HDL - 33
LDL- 188
Total Cholesterole- 245

CBC:
MCH - 33 picograms

LFT- all good
KFT- all good

HOMOCYSTEINE- 31.6 (too high as normal range is 0-15)

2D ECHO - mild LVH

Went to doc and he said that LVH is normal all ratings are fine. Left venticular wall is mild thicker maybe bcz of high bp for a long time

High bp can be reason of High Homocysteine levels and bad Lipids

He started diff meds

For lipids -
Statins

For homocystein-
Folic acid

For BP -
Cardace am 5 (combination of Ramipril 5mg + Amlodipine 5mg)

Bp still high for few days
Med changed -
Cardace am 5 (morning + evening)

Bp still high for few days
Med changed -
Cardace am 10 (combination of ramipril 10mg + Amlodipine 5mg) (morning and evening)

Statins started body ache so doc removed Statins and added a cholesterol med Brillo

After that i was fine

After some time of treatment
My bp started getting lower

118/68 to maximum 122/72

But bcz of some issue i stopped Cholesterol med and homocysteine med for 2 month and didn’t go to see doc

My bp started getting high
Which was 135/78 to 145/85

(No workout in last 3 months)

Few days ago i went for tests bcz i was worried for my bp and wanted to see doc again

Lipids-
HDL - normal
LDL- 136 (lower than before)

Homocystein-
36.6 (Higher than before)

Doc changed med for Homocysteine and added a uric acid med bcz its lil bit high

So i wanted to know

What did i do wrong in starting
Why did my bp go high and is not coming down?

I never was on TRT

So why did i started getting my bp high from last almost 1 year?

Is it that i fu*ked up with steroids or i did something wrong?

Or is it just my lipids and homocysteine causing my high bp ?

Also i feel my test level is down and estrogen is high bcz i can feel some ichiness in my gyno glands.

So can this also increase my bp ?

How can i get my bp normal permanently?

Please help with this for me to understand

Yes, steroids will raise your blood pressure. So will:

  1. being overweight. You did not share your height/weight. The weight gain that you maintain from steroids also counts, even after you stop the drugs
  2. so will retaining water ie from too much salt in your diet, steroids, etc
  3. Alcohol
  4. High cholesterol
  5. Genetics
  6. Many others

I’m not sure what you are asking?

What % bodyfat are you?

What is your nutrition like? Those lipids say…not great.

How many stimulants do you consume a day? ie caffeine etc. What happens BP wise when you consume 100mg / 300mg / 500mg of caffeine?’

How much cardio do you do a day: both steady state & HIIT. What does you BP do when you do 30 mins of each?

What weight training do you do? Can you lift heavy weight and not feel super light headed? What happens if you try to max out?

You’re not really giving a picture of you, just a picture of random events.

I certainly wouldn’t go near steroids until you get your heart in proper working order…ideally off statins which have a boatload of side effects. Not alot of spare hearts hanging around.

For the potentially high estrogen, get a blood test and get a doctor to assist. Don’t fuck around with self medicating.

PS: in future…tell the doctor everything when you go to the ER. They aren’t the police, and hiding shit from them is really silly.

Now i am not taking any thing at all
My bodyfat is around 20-23%

Not using caffiene from last 3 months
Did very less cardio almost none

If i do bp goes high but not much

In weight training i can lift heavy and max out without any issue. No light headed feeling.

OFF steroids from last 6 months
Already Off statins from last 3 months

My age is - 26

Just wanted to know that why is it happening to me
I never took too much anabolics just 2-3 cycles in 4 years
Still i got high bp and i dont know the reason
So can it be bcz of high lipids and homocysteine?

Can i get my bp normal if i lower my lipids and homocysteine levels?

I am not overweight, i lost around 6-8 kgs after stopping anabolics and not trying to maintain any weight as i am more worried about BP

Almost 0 salt in diet bcz my parents have high bp

Alcohol- once in 2-3 months

Smoking- 2-3 times a week

There’s a good part of your answer: your parents have high BP. It’s genetic. So you are predisposed. Get on BP meds, stop smoking, do more cardio and get your diet in order. Steroids are probably not for you.

Don’t worry, even if he tries one or the other it’ll probably just get stuck in the syringe

Steroids, lifestyle, genetics

I’ve had BP issues on cycles over the last 20 years and on TRT. This is what has helped:

  1. Short term - get on blood pressure meds.
  2. Get on TRT level testosterone until you can control BP.
  3. Drop body fat.
  4. Do cardio and then do more cardio.
  5. Make sure your is diet clean and reduce or eliminate alcohol.
Your blood pressure will drop but it might take a few weeks.

What was your blood pressure running before you started cycling? Could it possibly have always been high? Or did I miss that in your post. I have a short attention span.

Practice stress-reduction techniques like meditation and deep breathing. Focus on a balanced diet, regular exercise, stress management, and adequate sleep to support heart health. Follow your doctor’s medication recommendations consistently to avoid fluctuations in blood pressure.
