I was just thinking about that quote this morning!
IMO, it has been very clear that the Executive Branch is run by a Presidential Committee. Joe Biden is nothing more than a figurehead. What President actually in charge is ever going to say, “I am going to get in trouble for saying this.”
You pick who is the Chairman of the Presidential Committee. I have my thoughts.
I think it’s fairly evident we’re in a de-facto Obama 3rd term and Hillary 1st term. Regardless of who is calling the shots day-to-day or how it actually works, the Biden Administration has been the functional equivalent of either and extremely radical.
As for the real power behind the scenes, it is still the same idea it has always been, just with new language and mental gymnastics.

Its always right at the forefront of my mind when disasters strike.
I helped with some tornado clean up a while back. It was nice. The township that was hit has a list of contractors. They put out the calls and basically unleashed the dogs. We were on it, along with about 50 others in a few hours. They coordinated us and controlled traffic. We just needed the permissions to cut loose.
Im all for just getting people what they need- health, safety, food, shelter, and letting the bureaucrats bicker once the work is done.
Pulling the purse strings at a time of great suffering is just a horrible way of letting people know “who is in charge”.
Did he make out ok in the recent storm? This next one will be bad for some part of Florida it’s just what part… currently the models are mostly converging on he and I. I’m between Tampa and Bradenton.
He was at a good elevation so he shelters in place. I think he said like 24 feet above sea level. He also keeps a generator on hand to operate his bed and other necessary utilities.
He has gotten pretty good at this stuff! ![]()
On the subject of bureaucratic bickering, I have it from a very reliable source that such bickering between the state, local and federal agents involved in our local mass shooting last year is likely responsible for saving a few lives after everything played out.
I won’t name names of agencies but there was a significant amount of unproductive dick measuring taking place along with everyone being really keyed up, allegedly to the point of a few of the younger fellas who had a few beers springing into action by way of armored personnel carrier.
The reason this bureaucratic bickering might have saved lives is it allowed the shooter to escape and he chose not to kill anyone else before he unalived himself. If they had pursued him more effectively, which a more organized response likely would have, some LEO’s would have quite likely fallen victim to his .308 battle rifle.
Instead we got a few days of wondering if and when he was going to strike next until they found his body.
But hey, you shouldn’t trust what some guy on the internet tells you, especially if he’s biased like me.
Good thing for that bickering then. Those FAL pack a freakin Wallop!
It was an AR-10, but same basic deal.
Accounts of people trying to help:
That region has a massive population of former and active military.
They just need to be allowed to do what they’re good at.
It’s reassuring to know that there are a lot of capable people who are willing to help.
Obviously there must be a lot of hearsay and wild rumors. But the theme in all the videos and posts I’ve been seeing is pretty much the same: “FEMA is doing quite a lot to prevent people from helping one another.”
I sure hope all these people are just lying for attention, and that everyone really is able to do what they need without the government standing in the way. That would be a relief to hear because if what they say is true, it’s pretty unsettling.
Here are a couple more:
Obama/Rice/Harris/Soros
Harris is Vice Figurehead.
And she was part of the big plan…thats why she was selected to be vice figurehead
What particularly boggles my mind is why there are not massive numbers of US military helicopters operating over the area right now dropping water, MRE’s and medical supplies and evacuating as many as possible. There are a lot of helicopters nearby.
The Federalist article above offers plausible explanations, but this seems like a political gift to the Harris campaign if they could somehow leverage the capabilities of the US government to respond. This is the time for organizations like FEMA to show how well they can function.
I would be very curious if anyone comes across a thoughtful political analyst who is offering an informed take on how this might impact the presidential election.
If you vote leftist / democrat… we are certainly at odds
The big plan is to continue governing by Presidential Committee. If the Derms win Harris will not have a vote on the Committee. She is merely intended to be the puppet.
Ok, now i see your point
with that i am in agreement
Not sure which is more awesome, the goats or the mule train. Either way, just good people getting the job done.
