Mayweather’s been a bit of a yawner in his last two as well - although I guess we couldn’t have asked of him the same thrashing of Judah as for Gatti.
These two have to drop back down to their ‘natural’ bodyweights and have a go at it.
Still I too think Mayweather would demolish Hatton at the lower weight, but would still love to see it.
Mayweather is just trying to maximize his earnings though at this point and a Mayweather-Hatton fight is still not gonna bring as much candy as a fight with de la Hoya. Especially since Hatton already has two fights lined - why should Mayweather sit around and wait for him.
If these two do fight though - for boxing fans I think it would be the biggest thing in years.

I cant see Mayweather dropping down a weight…because he’s already a 4 weight champ(i think) and i imagine he’ll want to keep going up to a certain point. Not sure i could see him going past light middle though and he may struggle their.
At welter he’s sharp but not very powerful, but then powers never been his thing
Floyd Mayweather is a physical specimen with incredible speed and power for his weight.
Didn’t Delahoya leave “Mayorga” confused and fight a very tactical fight? I bring “Mayorga” up, because he had lots of power for his size and anyone watching could see this. It appeared The Golden Boy was better prepared and delivering shots from odd angles. Strategy beat greater power here.
I don’t doubt that “The Golden Boy” will be prepared for this awesome of a fight.
Damn, it is a hell of a fight.
This is a career fight for both of these guys and to be honest I dont know what will happen.
Floyd Mayweather, I was telling someone next to me the other day, can go the distance ( 12 rounds ) nearly at full power. Its impressive to watch.
Floyd Mayweather SHOULD win, but he is “lossless” as a professional…
And to think about it, “The Golden Boy” has fought some physical specimens, I look for him to be well prepared physically and mentally and fight a tactical fight.
I expect Floyd Maywhether to show up to that fight at a very high mental level of acuity and we are in for a good one.

Mayweather will knock him out! After all the flack he’s getting from his last decision he’ll be sure to make this one a no-brainer!![/quote]
Mayweather will break his china hand if he tries to knock Oscar out. If he stops him it will be a TKO.
