power squat 10 plates x 10

leg press 1 plate each side x 10 2 plates x 20, 3 plates x 30, 4 plates x 20, 5 plates x 10

done!

today was an interesting day for me. i felt good, nothing hurt, but i kept the reps high anyway and did lots of conditioning as i have been slacking on that as of late.

  1. muscle cleans 80kgx12

  2. steep incline db press(this was just one pin setting from 90 degrees) 85lbx6

  3. dumbbell rows, 150lbx10(all time pr)

  4. hammer iso lat pulldown 2x10

  5. incline bench db curls, 2x6x50lbs

  6. close grip pushups, 2x15

  7. dips, 2x10x bw

conditioning:

airdyne tabata

hand-bike tabata

ps, bw up again today, dont know what i am doing wrong other than nconditioning not as consistent as it once was 233lbs

dbs for pushups work about as well as the special push up tools you can get. I’ve used both.

well, i am still sitting at about 233 as i type this. i am cheating on the diet ever other day it seems, last night i had pizza and wings! but under 230, i feel much better, my chronic knee and foot problems get better, remember i am on my feet hustling for 12 hours straight at my job. my clothes fit better, i am not as self conscious about my gut, the GF thinks i am sexy again…ect.

lousy day today…nothing hurt, just had no energy. think i might be overdoing it with conditioning.

  1. deadlift 190kgx8

  2. shrugs 2x20x140kg

  3. power squat 10 plates x 10

  4. barbell squats 100kgx10

  5. abds.

ill push the prowler tonight if weather holds.

getting stale on the wendler 5-3-1 thing. gonna keep in the reasonable linear periodization, but change how i put the workouts together. going back to (yet again) and 3 day a week deal, but do push-pull-squat day.

day 1 push and biceps

day 2 pull(deadlifts and lat work) and triceps

day 3 squats(legs)

more conditioning today… prowler a 6 trips.

Putting off DLs for another week. Maybe missed a great opportunity today. Due to hand issues for most of today used straps. Felt as strong as Big James.
