Nice curling!! 185 f-ing lbs is crazy. I been doing the ab rollers as well. My lower abs(sometimes tris and lats as well)always ache the next day.

Thanks eco, forgot to put the belt on like a dummy. sometimes the day after the abroller my abs will charlie horse if I really hit them hard. If you’re heavy the abroller is a bitch.

That some wicked ass weight in the curls, Barry. Never was one of my strong lifts.

Back in Azle with Jimmy T. We decided to wait until tomorrow to hit it. The train was bad and i couldn’t sleep. No juice in my tank. Hide the children tomorrow.

We trained outside in the sun at 9am to 10:30am.Great time and as always a pleasure and special time being with Barry.A great week to all.

Jimmy T and I suck at math, there was a bench at 320 also but who’s countin. We hope to go to a meet in Feb which would be a dream of mine. The best to ya all. Almost fotgot Galaxie63 was there for a few of the bench sets with wisdom and coaching.

All I can say is Barry has no idea how strong he is. Believe me when I say with a steady hand off and a shirt theres well over 100lb on the table to be had. I really think more than that. Monster.

Hey Gang! Just checkin’ in to see how everyone is doing. No full-time job yet; have been subbing as an Athletic Trainer at the local high school. Sailing season finished up for us this weekend; starts up again in March 2010(I’m gonna need a drysuit for that icy water, OMG!) Still depressed, but now it seems to come & go & not be with me on an every-day basis.

Yo-yo weight gains/losses, sometimes as much as 10 pounds/week. I decided to try to workout more like before to see if that can bring an end to my misery; bodybuilding-type workouts did nothing for me mentally or physically(esp. since I didn’t really train consistantly & give it a chance). If my physical symptoms get worse from it, I will cross that bridge when I get there…

11/03/09 - Tuesday
Decided to see how bad my strength loss was/is in the Bench Press with the layoff.

Bench Press - every rep paused
45x10x2; 95x8; 135x5; 185x3; 225x1; 250x1; 255x1; 260x1; 265x1; 270x1; 275x1
Maybe had 280-285x1 but stopped at 275x1 because I was very, very shaky in my arms, esp. when bringing the bar down to my chest & my right leg/foot kept slipping out as I unracked the bar & it was very distracting & annoying. I thought the combo of the latter would eventually lead to injury so I stopped shy of my true 1RM(probably 280-285 today).

No assistance work

sorry i have not posted lately, the injuries are stacking up on me again.

partial bicps tear during warming up for deads 2 weeks ago. i can move the arm now, but some chronic type tendonitis or something (constant aching./burning) in that arm. limited rom. this is my RIGHT arm. so no triceps in my left arm, and now no biceps in my right???

left knee meniscus injury flaring up again, probably need to have it scoped. fuck my life.

right shoulder is gotten bad again. i have bad degenerative changes in that shoulder and a complete ac joint separation. not much i can do about that, i cannot even do pushups right now,

last few workouts have been very light just using different machines, 5x10, 3x20, ect. i go in to the gym and find whatever machine i can do some decent range of motion on without pain, start very light and work up untill something starts hurting.

Damn good to hear from you QT. Sailing around and working as a part time athletic trainer sounds like real fun to me. Too bad it don’t pay the bills. Your workouts are still looking good.

Deadlift - 135x10; 225x3; 315x1; 365x1; 405x1; 425x1; 450x1(shaky but just made it).
I could not have done even 2.5lbs more!
