How Young is too Young to Date?

You are totally pathetic here. People in their 20s are not children.

Do you believe that all sexual relationships should be predicated upon eventual marriage? That is how you are coming across. Basically as a 19th century prude.

They are not children in their 20s. I know adults that haven’t developed since high school. You can push harder all you want on this issue but legal is legal.

A threesome isn’t some magical/superior or unattainable event. It’s just sex with two people. You had it at 16 and that somehow justifies you being a pervert now that you’re older?

No, it doesn’t.

Stop preying on naive children.

3somes ARE magical

If AC’s a pervert, then i’m a pervert, too. Especially, given the fact that i’m about 8 years older.

“naive children” LOL!! Right!

I wonder if all the 32-45 year old men in this thread would be OK with their 18-25 year old daughter getting banged by a grown man many years her senior. I have two sons, so I can’t really put myself in the shoes of a father of a 20 year old daughter who’s being taken to jazz clubs, bed and breakfasts and wine tasting by a guy more than twice her age. My age. That’s not an attack on AC or any of the guys who have no issue with it.
So you’d rather her driving around with a broke loser getting high in his car and getting fucked in the back seat cuz he can’t afford a hotel? If she’s over 18 (and I’ve already said I don’t date them that young, I don’t go below 21 because it’s too inconvenient) she’s an ADULT and if you’ve raised her right, she’s capable of making up her own mind.
But you didn’t answer his question in this one. He mentioned nothing about a broke loser as I’m sure he wouldn’t prefer that, either, but he did ask how you would feel if your hypothetical daughter was in the same situation.

I don’t have a dog in this fight, I’m just genuinely interested in both sides of the spectrum.
This is easy for me to say since I don’t have kids.

My take is that when your child is an adult, all you can offer is perspective and advice so that they can make an intelligent decision with their own lives. It’s ultimately her choice.

If she finds someone she’s happy with and who respects her, I’m pretty sure I’d feel the same regardless of his age.

If she finds someone who’s clearly just using and manipulating her, I’m pretty sure I’d feel the same regardless of his age.
Smart man.

holy shit, dudes getting all kinds of pissed now

angrychix, that’s just wrong dude.

I find a lot of men(26+) really look to find attention from young girls. I wonder why.

My best guess is that a person who considers it ‘winning’ to bang a brain-dead child, is the same person who never got the attention from said females in their own child years. So now, it feels good for you to have a hot chick crave you? Well, that’s even more sad b/c you said it yourself, they aren’t actually craving you, they are craving your things.

How the fuck is that winning?

You need a soul
Clearly you are a prodigy able to psychoanalyze people over the internet. And moreover don’t understand the sexual market very well.
I’m sorry if an objective view on the matter is hard to face especially when it ‘hits home’ but I am glad that the pedophiles on here are making themselves visible.
I’m 27 and happily married to a 29 year old. Try again.

So the fact that a 40 year old man that you don’t know is dating a 24 year old woman “disgusts” you? How do you make it through your day? Cuz buddy, there are a WHOLE lotta things in this little world of ours going on, but you’re “disgusted” by THAT? Did you forget to take your medication? Do you write most male celebrities complaint letters expressing your disgust?

I mean Tom Cruise and Katie Holms, Harrison Ford and Colista Flockhart (22 years), Jason Statham, Humphery Bogart married Lauren Bacall when he was 25 years older, Clint Eastwood (35 years), Jay Z is 12 years older than Beyonce, Michael Douglas is 25 years older than Catherine Zeta Jones, Celine Dion’s husband is 26 years older, Charlie Chapman and Oona Oneal (36 years), Warren Beaty and Annette Benning (26 years), Al Pacino and Lucila Sola (FORTY years), Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Thomas (26 years), David Hasselhoff and Hayley Roberts (29 years), Brad Pitt and Angelina (12 years), Jonny Depp and Angie Heard (22 years), Bradley Cooper and Suki Waterhouse (17 years), Matthew McConaughay and Camila Alves (14 years), Austin Green and Megan Fox (13 years), Oliver Sarkozy and Mary-Kate Olsen (17 years).

How about Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi? 15 year gap - you better tell that bull dyke she’s outta line!
How about Hugh Jackman? His WIFE is 13 years older than he is - you better write her a strongly worded letter! Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore are 17 years apart as well - I think I’ve made my point.

And that’s just a few celebrities. The tip of the iceberg.

How old are you?

I’m 29, recently started dating a 20 year old.

Am I a pervert?

I would say so, but, that has nothing to do with her age. You’re just being Yogi

@Claudan

Dude, I like you but…

if you really think most women in their early 20s are “naive children”, you’re going to have a lot of trouble with them in real life.

I’m soon to be 50. My son’s mother is 28. How about those apples bitches?

haha!

Fair enough

I think half plus 7 is about right and has a lot of wisdom (for a relationship). For me that would be about 31-32 and that’s perfect for me as long as she doesn’t have kids, stretch marks, etc. The big great pink elephant in the room is that women on average do not generally improve with age. 20’s is the peak for many biological markers in a woman and the attraction is only natural. In a gender driven largely to mate, it’s laughable that other men here have a problem with men dating younger women.

My gf is 7 years younger than me.

I am a pervert.
