So after a lengthy cycle consisting of about 1700ish mg/wk of various compounds my friend has decided to come off. The taper off after the 9ish months looked something like this:
1700mg/wk total AAS for close to 9 months.
500mg/wk for 4 weeks (test only from here on out - 2 injections per week of cyp)
250mg/wk for 4 week
125mg/wk for 4 weeks
50mg/wk for 4 weeks
HGH was used in the last 4ish months lasting to about mid point of the 250mg/wk portion. 10iu E3D seperated into 3 different injections and was done IM for the first month and then IV for the remainder of the time.
Clomid was started in the last week at 50mg/wk and will last for two weeks after.
Overall weight is down just over 5 lbs from a top out of 248, however some leaness and vascularity has disappeared. It is highly thought that the vast majority of the muscle gained will be kept from here and on, and nearly all attributed to the HGH.
Now comes the question. Going to be off of AAS for roughly two more months but plan to do some HGH in the meantime. Calories are slowly added now for a slow bulk that will last until about mid march. HGH use was stopped at that point in the taper described above. Which route would you think be better?
as an aside…people really need to forget about looking teh same off cycle as they do on cycle…not really directed at you in particualr lilguy (u probably need to change ur screen name). i just see all the time where guys seem so shocked taht they are losing mass off cycle or definition or whatever. there is no magic pct, at its best cycling is 2 steps forward one step back…once you accept this things are not so mentally disturbing
I assumed that this was going to be the consensus. I do expect to lose some. However I do seem to be keeping more and better weight than anytime before.
morepain: Im just a sarcastic sobf, hence the lillguy name. Havent been very little for a while now.

I definitely think GH is the key to holding your gains post cycle…
I had a post about it recently where I was discussing the use of 4iu 3x/w post cycle…not a ton of GH but enough, from my limited experience, to maintain strength and muscle mass when your body would otherwise be in a catabolic state. Besides keeping the body out of a catabolic state I think it also helps enough with strength/pumps/motivation in the gym to keep people from falling into the trap of starting to skip workouts which is when the muscle really starts to drop.
Losing 5lbs is likely just your extra water and glycogen.
