How Would You Have Reacted?

Goddamn, I want to move there in a few years.

Go for it. Our current Government can’t possibly survive this coming election unless the general population is unbelievably retarded.

Oh man. I’m screwed.

Well, there’s always Australia…

Its real easy to wax heroic online. I think, fact is, most people would do exactly what the bystanders in that video would do. I’ve had things like that happen in front of me, and I froze.

First off, I didn’t know what to do. I’m not trained in any fighting style, I don’t know effective ways of disabling or disarming a person. Secondly, I’m not sure how to handle the situation even if I did step in. Do I wait around for the cops? Do I try to restrain him till they get there? Do I let him get away?

Lastly, the issue that mostly comes up arounds stuff like this, for me, is the mental state people have to be in to get involved in a confrontation, especially a physical one. Cops, or any security, have to be in this mindset all the time. Generally when you see two people in a fistfight, they both had some time to get into gear. You’ll often see an overagressive person push someone around (either physically or verbally) simply because the other person wasnt expecting it and wasn’t in the state of mind to be agressive/violent.

Ok, I’m up for the challenge.

I’ve seen this shit. Plenty of times.

First off, The only reason this shit escalated was because she wasn’t hot.

My solution:

Drop 120lbs off that braud and put her in a nice halter top and a nice black skirt.

She wouldn’t even be with Kimbo Jr… She would be with an ex-con who actually makes money and knows his value (literal economic value).

This might turn into a promotional video.

Most people prefer to carry a knife,I just need a sip of liquid courage to jump in. But honestly,Id be scarred to jump in. I wouldn’t go for it unless I knew I was going to win or someone helped me.

Btw,With the liberal justice system the way it is today theose Animals would have been portrayed as victims and the guy getting attacked would have been the white, racist.

Wow, courageous AND witty, you must be a real man.
The internet lion roaring. The testosterone beast.

Oh yes, I’m sure you would’ve stepped in and kicked the big guy’s ass.

I’m not a cop or a fighter, I’m a regular guy that trains for health and esthetics, I don’t go around beating people up. Last time I had a fight was in highschool, hopefully never again. My personal safety is the most important thing to me. But I’ll do anything to protect myself or my family, even resorting to extreme violence if needed.

A little extreme?

I’ve diffused a couple violent situations in the past simply by reasoning with people. A well placed and non-threatening, “Dude… what are you doing? I’m sure he didn’t intend to disrespect your wife/gf. The guy is hungry and stupid… it’s not worth it” can be effective.

Of course, you never know… and I certainly would’ve been beyond intimidated by that guy.

everyone in that vid are pussies.

1 the guy that was on the phone,he shouldnt have said anything if you are going to talk crap say it to that person not on the phone.
and if you are man enough to say something if you ignore them they will not go away.

  1. the bystanders that did nothing but stand there shaking like scared poodles.

if it was my neighborhood 2 things would have happened because I have seen stuff like this before

first everyone would have laughed at the guy that got hit,but after the first shot they would have broke it up and sent the guy out and get thier own shots in because they know they could get away with it.
and a possible third thing is the white guy that was talking crap would have gotten rolled like a passed out drunk.
thats a maybe though.

this is a simple case of keep your mouth shut or be prepaired to back up your mouth.

Yep.

Every now and then, running your mouth has consequences. Sometimes they’re 6’4 and 300 pounds.

I feel sorry for the guy, but he acted in a typical, middle class white way: “I can say what I like and if I just ignore them, they’ll go away.” [/quote]

Good post.

dunno what i would have done… but i would have done something even if it was scream at the black guy. if i had the courage id have went for the side of his knee and drop kicked it as hard as my 296lb body would let me and hope i snap his knee. then hopefully some ppl would have jumped him.

the posts about this guy being a drug dealer and therefore packing… in the heat of the moment you probably dont know he was a drug dealer… so what other reason do you have for suspecting a weapon?

Do we know what the guy actually said on the phone?

Something about the woman. Hence the “I’m the only one in here wearing camo” shit.

still watever he said. he didnt deserve that… maybe the first dig. but it should have ended there.

I know that. But there’s a difference between saying “someone in camo just cut the line” and “an uncivilized fat person in camo cut the line” and I just inquired about the degree of provocation - if any.

I’m a small dude, but if I were a bystander, I’d have taken out that fat fucker’s knees from the back.
He’d collapse like the bag of shit that he is. Once down, everyone could jump his blubbery ass.

Those “men” who stood and did nothing were pussies.

EDIT: Damn, I just realized I basically said the same thing Thosebananas said above^^.

I don’t think it really matters, a hood rat is a hood rat and merely acknowledging her cutting the line would be enough…and her calling in her boyfriend the way she did says this isn’t a first for her either.
