Best of luck. I had to put in for the raffle for about 8 months to get the 120lb ad ons. Best bet will probably be facebook market.

Yeah I donā€™t know why dumbbells have been his so hard with the ā€œpandemicā€ over other pieces of equipment. When companies catch back up, Iā€™ll probably pick up a pair of them.

Do you have any other accessory pieces of gym equipment you would consider highly versatile. Iā€™m looking for ā€œjust one more pieceā€ to add to the garage gym.

Hoping a bunch of the gym stuff folks bought up eventually ends up on the used market for a good price when everything stabilizes haha

In truth, I believe my workouts with my home have become a lot better. I used to workout at one of the Insert popular workout location open 24 hrs a day, but not really and it was a love hate. I love the amount of equipmentā€¦ I hate the amount of people lol. With the home gym I have assembled I get to take my time and do much more form focus with out someone walking up and eye balling or hitting me with that ā€˜you using thisā€™ in between every set. Yes it cost lots of money (and will cost more the more I buy) and yes it takes up space in the garage, but it has been amazing taking my time and getting my sets in on my time at my pace and not feeling rushed.

Edit: I also do a lot less ego lifting which I am not to big to admit I do when there are other bros around.

I feel exactly the same way. Itā€™s great to have your own stuff. Thereā€™s no pressure to be in a hurry, you get to use the equipment at your own leisure, and you can check your ego in at the door.

Sometimes itā€™s nice to use some of the hammer strength stuff in a commercial gym but it doesnā€™t out-do the feeling I get to use my own stuff. I love it and donā€™t really need to go back to a globo gym.

The reasons to not go back are many but for me, itā€™s the people. Most people I just find annoying and having your own gym alleviates all of that.
