How to Stop Underarm Sweating?

Botox works. I had it done last year. I only had it done once because my dermatologist was having problems getting paid by the insurance company for it. I was going to go to another doctor but I am too cheap to pay a $75 consultation fee on top of my copay. It doesn’t hurt to ask about if you have insurance.

I have been using clinical strength degree and so far it’s working but I haven’t been through the summer months yet. The one I thought really worked was the Adidas brand with cotton dry (or whatever it was called). I stopped using it because I developed a rash with it.

You can get underarmour type shirts at places like WalMart, KMart, Target for about half the price of the brand name. I have caught Nike and Adidas ones on sale at various stores (Kohls, MC Sports, Etc) for about $15 each.

lastly, I find female deodorant works best. again, say what you will, but I prefer not to stink and sweat a lot.

Yep. Same here.

My friends all use secret (women’s deoderant) and swear by it. I tried it and had less successful results.

If it’s that bad you can get Botox injections to stop you from sweating under your arms. No joke. [/quote]

If it is very bad, you can also get the nerve that causes it snipped.

My wife checked on this yesterday at a derm appointment and it is 900 bucks if you don’t have insurance. And if you have shitty school insurance such as I do they make you pay it up front and then AFTER you get it done you send them the confirmation for reimbursement purposes. It is at that point that they decide whether or not they will cover any portion of it.
I’d rather experiment with women’s deodorant than go through the hassle.

Just piss your pants. No one will notice your pits.

arrid works really well. generally the white powdery types are better than clear gel and gimmicks like that

well shaving my underarms didn’t work, nor did using baby powder…next up, certain dry, drisol, or that gillette stuff that apparently no stores carry in boston.

I second the Certain-dry. I used to have the same problems. Just follow the directions and put it on before bed, not in the morning after a shower. If you do put it on after a shower be prepared for some intense itching.

We might be working with this company and offer some of our RibbedTee undershirts (ribbedtee.com) with these shields.
