what fails first when you deadlift?
Cpt of crush has their own cultish following akin to kettlebells. Thing is, neither of them don’t work. (double negative on purpose).
Heavy deads, heavy grip work, timed hangs, towel chins, ballistic olympic moves.
What are you doing now?
I find hanging from a bar with a really tight grip for as long as I can has helped. I do it after every work out.

Yes! The 1950’s principles for training are still alive and kicking! ha ha ha ha ha ha
Some years back I cut a broken shovel handle to about 16 inches in length. Drilled a hole in the piece, and tied a nylon rope six feel long through the drilled hole. Put a snap on the other end. Snap/hook a dumbell/plate on the end of the rope. Hold the handle at eye level, and roll the rope and weight up., then roll it down.
You can do this rolling action forwards and backwards. You will develope a grip and wrist like you will never believe. You can develope a series of different - increasing weights on the rope. Very inexpensive and long lasing tool.
I’d say a couple things. Lifting without straps helps. Wrist curls. Reverse barbell curl. And this is going to sound dumb, but what works it a lot, is climbing a rope, using as much arms as you can. Just some ideas…
Oddly enough I find that low rows activate forearms.

Uhm, towel-grip pull ups, wrist curls and rolls, as well as gaining weight.
Cleans hit my forearms real lovely.

Being in Iraq and Afghanistan for two years. My hand is my wife. lol j/k
Take up rock climbing/bouldering
I’d second the suggestions of heavy deads, rack pulls, timed holds, farmers carries/walks, towel chins, etc…
However those are all “support” grip exercises, and while support grip is important and good for building forearm mass, I’d also suggest working on other types of grip as well.
COC grippers are great for building “crush” grip strength. You can find them at www.ironmind.com
While you’re there check out “John Brookfield’s Grip Tips”. There are some great exercises in there to build all kinds of hand strength (along with different types of grip), and add some good mass as well.
Good training,

Here is Dave Tate’s advice on getting jacked forearms. Let me know how it works for ya.

Rock climbing doesn’t make your grip strong, it just weeds out the guys with weak grip by dropping them a couple hundred feet onto a sharp rock. leaving only the strong of grip, which perpetuates the myth.

Best advice so far. Look at a climbing mag if you want to see some serious forearms and backs.
Check out this meat-cannon.

Just in case you aren’t joking I would like to point out that you are completely wrong.
