Agreed

Once one finally gets serious enough to crunch the numbers (and stick to them), consistent fat loss becomes fairly straightforward[/quote]

I don’t think that line of thought should be completely disregarded. For example, for the time around your workout (whether you subscribe to pre, post or peri), you would want purely protein and carbs without fat, so that the fat doesn’t slow down digestion/absorption. For the remainder of the day however, I’m with everyone else…it doesn’t matter.

From looking at your pic the first thing you need to improve is your diet. Reduce carbs.
I would also add fish oil as a member said here,i started using it for the last month and see some big improvement when i was stuck in my cutting phase.I don’t eat any fish at all.

I also suggest thicken your ab muscles by training them 3 times a week. This will make them more visible when you cut down on bf rate and they will appear faster as thick ab muscles can show at a higher bf rate.

Also kingbeef’s routine is a good starting point.

Alright sounds good thanks.

I’m also thinking about doing 5-10 minutes of plyometrics before my workouts. I did some with a friend that is a trainer at my gym and damn… I had to head to the bathroom after finishing the 5-10 minute routine. I thought I was going to throw up haha. I haven’t been doing anything that high intensity in a while and those will get you shredded.

He was also saying it triggers red muscle fibers and your body is obviously warmed up for a workout. When you first start working out you only trigger the white muscle fibers. He said something like that. Correct me if wrong.

This will also help me out on getting more flexible.
