Tanning is ghey. Unless you do it naked in your front yard with an erection the whole time.
Be sure to mist.
I’ve found that if I don’t rotate while doing this, I get a ‘non-tanned’ patch on the north side from the boner shadow. Also, you end up with a lobster boner from burning on one side…
Be sure to rotate 'round the boner!
One other benefit to this technique is that when you’ve gotten enough sun, you can affix an umbrella hat to said boner for shade. Heights may vary.
I prefer to lie down. That way I don’t need a watch since I have my own sundial.

When you pick a place to lie down and tan, make sure it’s somewhere other than a train trestle.

Give them a break. After all, trains come out of nowhere. It’s not like trains run on pre-determined tracks, and that you can easily identify these tracks and avoid them.

Im currently doing CW’s 10/10 program, and am getting good results. I want to get a tan though, and am not sure what my best options are. I am not trying to get super dark or anything, just not be so white. I have a couple of questions though.
1.) Can I just lay in my backyard for 20-30 minutes a day, and get a “safe tan”?
2.) If I lay in my backyard, do I NEED to wear sunscreen or is it ok to go without it for such a short duration?
3.) If I do this, is it best to go for a shorter duration when the sun’s rays are stronger, or longer duration when the sun’s rays are weaker?
4.) Lastly, should I just go with a fake tan, like tantowel, or some cream?
Just when did everyone because pussies because you got this idea that the sun causes cancer?
More myths perpetrated by the sunscreen industry… if you think Im full of it, then look at all the compelling research showing just how benefitical Vitamin D is to maintaining superior health (and wouldnt ya know, the sun is the cheapest and BEST way to get it)
So, she says, “I went back under and I went to get Destiny, and I tried to wake her up, and she was kind of, like, still asleep, so I was, like, ‘Destiny you have to get up. You’re bleeding really bad. We got hit by the train’”

This is nothing but nonsense. Please stop perpetuating this myth.
I would love for you to explain why actinic keratosis only develop on sun damaged skin, and why 15-25% of AK later go on to become squamous cell cancers.
UV light damages cellular DNA and causes mutations. It’s been proved in vitro and in vivo. (Ex. Rats left in a cage with an overhead UV light always end up developing skin cancer.)
(BTW, I agree that vitamin D has strong cellular growth regulation properties.)
Exposure to the sun is just like everything else: Moderation.
No shit - rats left in a cage under a UV lamp will get skin cancer?
Who fucking thinks up these stupid experiments?
They also get cancer when they eat 65,000 times the normal amount of saccharin.
I have a dog that is 10 years old. He’s lived his entire fucking life outside - and no cancer. In fact - I have never heard of a damn dog getting skin cancer. But take an animal that is rarely in the sun, super-expose it to UV radiation, and what in the hell do you think will happen to him?
Common sense. It’s not just two randome words thrown together.
