well, when you get like a 4 its more a sign of low confidence than being overly narciscisstic. if you score in the 10-20 range id say that’s average, but 20-30 is narciscisstic traits and 30+ is just super narciscisstic
but thats just my take on it and this test should be taken with a grain of salt as the answer options are all very black and white.
I scored highest on vanity. That must be because I’m hot and over 40.
Like other posters mentioned, the questions are simplistic and in many cases, neither answer was appropriate. For instance with respect to leadership, it isn’t that I question my ability or think I’m not bright or smart enough to lead. It’s an overwhelming lack of interest. If you pick one, you’re a narcissist, the other, you lack confidence.
I scored a 36 with high scores in Authority, Self-Sufficiency, Exhibitionism, and Entitlement. I had very low scores in Vanity and Superiority.
I could care less about the deeper meaning and chalk the results up to having self-confidence. I know people that are not even remotely confident that come off as extreme narcissists.

Agreed, we know we’re beautiful, but we still look in the mirror over and over to see how beautiful we are.
I think a lot of the satisfaction in the high narcissism scores is coming from a youthful mentality. When narcissism is naturally high anyway.
But, if one ever comes across a true malignant narcissist in terms of a relationship whether that’s romantic, work, or other, you’ll rue the day you met one.
Age has a way of whittling away the narcissistic tendencies we have and humbling us somewhat.
There are some raging narcissists in my family. My grandfather, mom, uncle and brother, and I can attest to the fact that those people are fucking impossible to deal with.
