Hi all, I’m off the weights next week, some business shit to deal with, no gym access, just a hotel set in the middle of a forest, a good 40 mile drive to the nearest gym as far as I know, so I’m just going to do some bodyweight exercises, press my suitcase over my head, and do a lot of jogging. I can’t make this a full rest week as I just had one 3 weeks back.
Question - I’m cutting, so should I still shoot for 300gms protein p/day next week or cut back to 150gms maintenance?

How about 1 - 1.5 gm per pound of body mass for maintenance?[/quote]
Well, that’s the question I’m asking here! I’m 210 lean, currently at 240-245Ibs. Is the 1.0-1.5 range appropriate for me next week? Why? Why not?
I was never very well up on nutrition until very, very late in my BB’ing life, so don’t be surprised if I ask some very beginnerish questions about it.
If you’re cutting, 1st, ensure you’re not getting a surplus of cals. Then make sure you’re getting your minimum of protein (which shouldn’t be under 300g for you). With what you’ve got left, calorie wise, you can spread it out amongst good carbs, healthy fats, or even a little more protein, which will have a thermic effect on your overall cals burned per day, so why not -lol.
