Really? A pool? I’ve always thought a pool was one of the biggest wastes of money for personal property. Most families I know barely use it once the novelty wears off. In fact, most spend more time with cleaning and upkeep than use.

Why do you think I called it a waste of money in the first place?

Lol. I take it it’s not your decision?

We have a winner!!

She drive a Lexus, I drive a Honda…she hardly works…I work full time…

You also need to understand in Marriage…

 1. The money I earn is “our” money…meaning as a couple.

 2. Then there is HER money. Belongs to nobody but her.

 3. There is no money that is mine specifically…ever.

At least she has a great rack.

Haha, which is responsible for her having things her way.

No offense Rock, it happens to the best of us.

Yes. Basically, you’re a tool.

Rent $530
Utilities $80
Car Note $550
Cell Phone $45
Cable Ineternet $145
Gas $80
Student Loans $250
Gym $50

I just paid off all my credit cards, so of course I had to do the only sensible thing. Buy a $1100 gun and a $4000 engine for a $1200 truck.

Well, of course. As any man would. I’d be a liar if I said I didn’t put myself in much debt by buying a $1000 rifle and $3,800 worth of parts for a 12 year-old truck.

But by god, I could tear down the gates of hell and not break 3500rpm.

I respect,and support,both of those choices,wholeheartedly,and without reserve.

I love old vehicles .
And all kinds of firearms…

No mortgage or car payment.
Texas size portions?

Rent - $380
Food - $500
Utilities - $100
Cell Phone - $20
House Phone - $10

Council Tax - $80

I share a house with my brother so this is my half of the bills basically. I wouldn’t fancy living on my own on my salary.

Holy shit!

Mort: $1281
Truck: $460
Suv: $502
Cell phones: $110
Cable/internet/phone: $170
Water/sewer: $35
Gyms: $70
Food: $600
Gasoline: $440
Ins: $240
Student Loan: $255
Nat. gas: $25
Elec: $150 avg
Day care: $150
House alarm : $35

These are stable every month. I have a credit card balance that I pay as much as I can, which varies on how much overtime I can get and shove to it. Supps are also subject to extra money between bills. This is coming out of a combined income of just under $100k a year.

You add it up. I hate looking at it.
P.S…our little guy doesn’t go to a DAYCARE anymore! We’re paying a private in-home sitter! And we only pay her when he goes. In other words, she hasn’t gotten anything from us in the last two weeks!

around $900 total for each month.

I make most of that teaching guitar to kids. It’s a pretty okay gig.
Cool. I teach guitar to kids too. It sucks when the don’t practice but its cool when they do and they make progress.

Right now:

Tuition: 8000/yr
gas: $100/month
food: $250/month
insurance: $900/yr
other stuff: maybe $100/month

That’s it because I still live home. I’ve been looking to get a rent near my school because I don’t like living a half hour away, and I need to get out of my mom’s house, at age 22 now. I’m only working during my time off from school, but it’s enough so I don’t go into my savings.

Well fuck me. I typed daycare because the sitter is…well…daycare. After all, who do you think my son stays with when he’s not at the sitter’s and MJ is at work and I’m not? I’m in my son’s life enough to know where he is when I’m at work. Sheesh.

Dang all of you low rent paying, non-California weasels. (Florida company excluded.)
Mortgage = $2,700
And I bought 7 years ago!
Plans to move to a farm in Virginia in progress. Once there, watch out deer and rabbits!

i live on $354 (aus) a forthnight…

NO, ya’ll know me better than that! I just take a lot of pride in being able to say that my son isn’t in ‘daycare’ anymore! that’s all–he knows he’s not an ‘ignorant slut’.
