Hello, i’m expecting my package of creatine to get here any day. The package i got includes 1000 grams and as an athlete i was wondering how much is recommended and if i lift 4 days a week how often should i take it?
3-5g per day. Every day. Indefinitely.

The simplest and most common recommendation is 5 grams per day, every day.
You could possibly use a little less and get the same result, but I don’t see the point since since Creatine monohydrate is so inexpensive.
I got good results with 20-30 grams of creatine (loading) for a couple weeks, then 10-15 grams as maintenance. Some people say loading doesn’t help… IME it does work, at least for some people. I also think 10 grams works better for me than 5 grams.
