Bauer said he drank 4 shakes a day on top of something like 5 HUGE solid meals a day, plus his pre/peri/post workout nutrition (another liquid shake.)
Bauer is also fucking massive.
Last year, I tried having one scoop of Metabolic Drive with every solid meal I had, upping my protein intake to 80 or 100 more grams of protein daily. I only lasted about a week because I was just downing the protein powder too quickly.
I would sip one with breakfast, one preworkout, and one postworkout.
Problem was I was still shooting for 350+ grams of protien a day, and was ending up with more like 500+ grams of protien a day without really realizing it.
Long story short, my face started getting puffy and I could figure out why, so i cut the shakes down to 25 grams in the morning with breakfast and 50 postworkout.
Any one else had your face blow up from using too much whey, or protien in general ??

Are you sure it wasn’t from total calorie excess? Were you bulking?
