How Long to Restart LH and FSH?

Was on HCG about a month and decided to stop and see if Clomid alone would be sufficient as i was getting some major sides.

It’s been about two weeks now at 25mg a day of Clomid since stopping HCG and my LH and FSH are still 0. Is this normally still be suppressed ? Why taking so long to restart?

How long were you on TRT? What were your FSH and LH levels prior to TRT?

Cphil19,
Exactly the same thing happened to me, I took 50 MG of clomid during 30 days and my fsh/lh was 0.
I decided to put myself on trt and try to recover my hpa axis after 8 weeks. I am still on trt and I hope te recover after finishing it.

Was on TRT for one month and then HCG alone for one month.

I’m not sure how you mean by this. TRT will just continue to keep LH and FSH completely suppressed. Clomid is supposed to jumpstart LH and FSH production.

You should have seen LH increase by now.

Were you real low when you started (FSH and LH)? We used to run 8-12 week cycles, without PCT, and other than not feeling as good as when we were on and our strength dropping, we were fine. I would say normal.

If it’s still zero, you’re screwed. Welcome to TRT for the rest of your life.

No, had levels in mid range actually.

So there’s a chance after just two months of combined TRT/HCG mono, I’ve destroyed my ability to make LH and FSH? That’s even possible?

I should point out that when I tested, even though LH and FSH was 0, my T was still in high 500’s. Maybe just taking a long time for the exogenous T to clear my system?

If your HPTA fails to respond to simulation, your pituitary was already fragile.

This is unusual. You might repeat the labs. Regardless, I’d give it more time for now.

Could be bad labs. They do screw up sometimes

True but it’s a bit concerning the numbers are exactly the same as when I was on TRT. Also, if it’s truly shut down, I would think my T would be tanked as well…
