Obviously being dose dependant, but How long after starting T cream does it take to start working? Im talking about scrotal application.
Does it still take 6 to 8 weeks to get stable after switching from injections?
When should you notice skin producing more oil/ improvement in libido/ better erections etc?
My A1C continues on a downward trajectory and now my fasting glucose is 125, down from 200-300’s 2 months ago where simply eating a meal would cause blurry vision and extreme sleepiness.
My hematocrit keeps finding its way to 56% and am going to be doing phlebotomy every 4 weeks. My iron requirements are high, needing a minimum of 112 mg daily or fatigue and a host of other nasty symptoms reappear quickly.
Dialing in on Jatenzo has been very easy, 7 days to a steady state. Zero water retention issues.
I think creams they say something like 4 hours after you’ve applied your morning dose. I’d say after a week or 10 days you’ve hit steady state and numbers aren’t going to move anymore
I’d love to try this too, but the cost is too high. Getting approved by insurance (UHC or Cigna) you have to prove that shots, gels, and creams all don’t work for you before they’ll cover it.
You can only get Jatenzo in the US and is under a different name in Canada. As far the absorption it bypasses the liver on the first pass only, but is actually absorbed in the intestines via fatty acids which is why it’s recommended you take it with food containing at least 30 grams of fat, 15 grams and Free T levels end up 25% lower.
Also Jatenzo produces higher DHT than injections but not higher than topicals, strange considering Jatenzo gets you higher Free T versus topicals.
I’ll also mention Jatenzo doesn’t supress your HPTA like with injections, LH and FSH are still in the low normal ranges. That means maintaining fertility is more likely on Jatenzo.
The thing is with creams your levels are up and down do to the short half-life, so while your levels are high at the time of testing, hours later is another story.
I have no idea what an estrogen level at 108 means, no reference ranges or units of measure were provided.
The symptoms could be your hormone levels swinging wildly which means hormones aren’t elevated long enough to show any benefit. This was pretty much my experience on T-creams.
