That’s not low, actually that’s the estrogen level of a typical natural healthy male (25-35 pg/mL).
Probably what you said then that my levels are fluctuating causing issues. Im pretty much out of options. I feel relatively ok on injections but libido and sexual function are pretty much missing. With cream i have slightly more libido but well being is shit. Its weird the second day of being on creams i woke up feeling great. This lasted a couple hours and then shit ever since.
That’s because of the higher DHT levels on creams, DHT is the main driver of libido. You may need twice daily dosing.
Thats what i dont understand if dht is higher on cream why is my skin still bone dry?
I used to have oily healthy skin when i first started trt. I was on hcg also then though. Do you think lots of stress can negate the effects of trt?
You don’t have steady enough levels, I’ll bet your levels are elevated for only part of the day. I could feel my levels climb and fall and only felt good for a few hours after application, the rest of the time I felt like a got hit by a truck.
Stress can be cause by insufficient hormones.
So basically then, If I did an extra dose at night would that keep levels stable without further raising levels above what they are now?
Your levels might increase a little, you won’t know unless you try it. I wouldn’t be as concerned with higher levels like with injections because levels are much more steady on injections, not so much with topicals.
I think it may be an idea to dose slightly lower twice a day. Bear in mind that I only stopped injections 11 days ago. Do you still think previous levels from injections could be adding to the high levels? previous was enanthate e/d I/m. Thankyou systemlord I do appreciate you answering my questions!
Also how many mg in 1 pump of 10% cream?
Yes I do. I had the some problem when starting Jatenzo and had only stopped injections a week prior to starting Jatenzo and felt awful for the first 3 weeks. If my hematocrit is 56% now, I can only imagine what it was during those first few weeks.
It takes about 4 weeks minimum for the injections to wash out of your system.
Your levels will come down in a few weeks, of that I am certain.
Currently on Test cream 10% 1 pump morning.
This has my levels at
TT: 1300 ng/dl
FT: 43ng/dl
Shbg:15
E2:29 pg/ml
It has improved sexual interest and function but I feel like my E2 is non existent. My skin has dried up completely and i have extremely bad eczema over face and body my eyes are so dry also. What am i missing here?
I have no doubt that my levels are too high as I am feeling restless and bit of brain fog and generally off.
The thing is my Free T seems to need to be higher nowadays to regain sexual function and libido-Or is that just from high dht from scrotal application? Are my E2 levels low in comparison to my free T? Is it the dht which is no doubt very high now cancelling out E2 effects?
I feel like i have crashed E2 at the moment.
This trt game is so fucking difficult
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Just from those numbers I don’t see anything crazy. It’s possible e2 is lower cos DHT is higher, but did you get that measured?
When were those labs taken in relation to your application?
I got them taken about 5 hours after application. Havnt got dht yet. Im tempted to go back to i/m e/d injections get stable again then add some dht cream on top. For some reason ive stopped converting to dht on injections.
Also you could try adding hcg to your cream protocol.
Warning - get your bloods done at the time after application your brand recommends.
I was getting mine done at 75 minutes as per my GP’s suggestion & my testosterone showed as within range.
When I had bloods done at the brand recommended 2.5 hours my testosterone was actually almost 3 times the limit. I’d been on this dose for 18 months.
So basically a modest steroid cycle for 18 months.
I had high haemotocrit at that point & a tight congested chest + palpitations.
My dose was reduced & within a month my heart felt normal again & haemotocrit fell from 54% to 48%
I’d also get bloods done 1 hour prior to application to see what your trough is
Good luck !
I thought with creams you wanted to test at 5-6 hours post application to get your midline levels
thankyou
My brand Tostran 2% gel recommends 2 hours after the gel has dried in the U.K. insert. It takes ages to dry - 30 minutes - so I do 2.5.
I did ask my endo if we should do bloods at 2.5 & 4.5 on the same day to see if my T is actually higher at 4.5 & therefore too high.
He said 2.5 is fine & there’s a lot of variation day to day, so haemotocrit determines if a dose is too high because haemotocrit reflects the long term average T level.
Ahhh someone else said creams and I thought that’s what you were on.
