There are no short cuts, it takes work, patience, and more work.
First and foremost - TO NEVER EVER ADMIT THAT I DO CURLS IN THE POWER-RACK! DOH!
T-Nation has given me the self-confidence to start training again after nearly 25 years of doing nothing but getting fat.
T-Nation has quite possibly saved my life.
T-Nation has also given me back my relationship with my 14 year old son since now I can “hang” with him doing physical activities of all sorts.
I consider T-Nation my fraternity.

masterblaster, that’s awesome! Keep up the great work.
Thank you. ![]()
T-Nation gave me the knowledge and confidence to step outside the box and kick my own ass on a regular basis. It’s made me much stronger, both physically and mentally.
people ask me if i’m using steroids. i always get a kick out of that.
Thanks to JB and T-Nation,I lost over 100 pounds in 10 months, maintained that, and am now stronger then I’ve every been in my life.
I could not sleep tonight, and instead of buying crap I don’t need on ebay I am drinking a shake and reading T-Nation. Now I feel like working out instead of going back to bed, I love this thing I wish I had been reading since the beginning. Keep it up.
It has given me some very useful training ideas. Most importantly, as a newbie back 3-4 years ago, I started deadlifting, stuck with it, and it has been the most important decision I ever made, purely due to all the articles written on here about it.
For that I thank you.
Joe.
T-Nation gives me access to a lot information that, given my present location, I wouldn’t be able to get.
Thank you
It’s a support group for me. A place to discuss ideas about training and nutrition with like minded people. Find out what works and doesn’t work before you try it.
Makes you think and opens your mind, particularly when you talk with people you may not come across on a day to day basis.

I’ve learned more on T-Nation than I thought I knew in the past “8” years.
I use compound movements as my mainstay.
I eat the proper consumption of nutrients, my body demands, from the hell I put it through in the gym.
I also time nutrient intake to compliment energy levels, aid in muscle recovery, and continue strength gains.
I’ve cut my supplements by 1/3!
I learned that I can burn fat and gain muscle simultaneously.
And I have incorporated the many, many, many, helpful articles on the different styles of lifting.
And you know what? I’m bigger, leaner, healthier, and stronger than I have been in my entire life. And it only took me 4 months to turn myself around completely!
To this… My hat’s off to you T-Nation. Cough… Gratitude…
OD

This summary is pretty spot on. hopefully with concentrarion and the help of T-nation I can get bigger, leaner etc, in the next months, and get more pussy!
My wife says “what the heck are you doing in your office for so long?”
My reply: “Um arguing with vroom on T-Nation.”
Wife: “Who is vroom?”
Me: “…ah…he’s a Canadian who holds different political views than I do”
Wife: “What do you care what he thinks you don’t even know him, and will never meet him.”
Me: “Yea…but it’s fun.”
Wife: “(eye roll) whatever…”
Okay on a serious note, other than sucking up my time on the forum I think T-Nation has helped extend my lifting “career” with it’s fabulous programs, nutritional supplements and great general training advice.
I only wish it were around 30 years ago…sigh
I was there when it was T-Mag. I didn’t like it at first, but after a while I got tired of reading the same shit in “Flex” every month. T-Mag had new articles every WEEK, an amazing new concept for me, and I learned awesome stuff like doing bicep curls with the wrist cocked backwards (to lessen the forearms’ involvement).
T-Mag never stopped innovating and sharing them with their customers. I gave up on ALL bodybuilding magazines for good (except for “Testosterone”, I still miss it). I wish I could say that I saved money, but they are being spent on Biotest supplements instead. ![]()
T-Nation is T-Mag on steroids. It’s great to have a forum where the majority of posters are NOT 18-year-olds who do squat rack curls and think that they can be as big as Ronnie Coleman. T-Nation citizens are people who have a variety of training experiences, but we all have one thing in common: we are here because we want to improve our bodies, our knowledge, and our performances ALL THE TIME.
Occupies my time for hours. I’ve got wireless internet. I take my computer, a book, and my ipod out to the pool, and I’m good to go.
it has made me a T-Man instead of a girly man that is all.
T-Nation has taught me to shut up and be a man. It’s showing me that taking immediate action and applying a solid base of basic knowledge is far better than spending years mastering anything before you even apply it.
It’s taught me that mistakes really are only there to learn from. When you fall down, you pick yourself back up and try it again. You dont give up because you’re not a quitter. Because everything you are trying to do, you WANT to do.
Being wrong isnt a bad thing as long as you learn from it.
… there are many other things, but I’ve gotta go ![]()
I simply learned how to lift and eat right for weight training.
Also, they sell Surge, which kicks ass!
diet, alot.
I used to get pissed at my husband for sitting at the computer for hours on end staring at nothing but a black screen with yellow text.
A few weeks ago, I decided to get on T-Nation and figure out what it was that would suck him in for hours…now I know. There is such a plethora of information and insight on this site. It’s unreal! I’m now hooked.
I’m trying to lose a significant amount of weight and also gain muscle…I think now I might actually believe the advice my husband gives me, because its supported by what others are saying here. So hopefully T-Nation can keep me motivated to become a new, healthier me.
