Definitely. BMX was big when I was young, and we all rebuilt our bikes so we could ride in the desert, jump shit, and basically try to kill ourselves.

Well. My job temporarily closed down. On the upside, ill be training outdoors and posting on these forums again.
I work for a small company with maybe 3-5 full time employees & maybe 5-10 part timers. I’m a 1099 sales guy (1 of 2, most wholesale sales are thru distributors or online). They are shutting down the day to day & laying off the hourly staff. I was on an appt 50/50 salary/commission split that is now 100% commission with a big bump in my rate. Net result should be a wash for me during the slow down & I’ll make better money than before when things pick back up.

If my state shuts down in the specific way other large cities have, I will lay off half our staff. Once the snot bubble pops, I’ll be on a hiring frenzy because I can hardly keep up at the moment.
Speaking of covid “affecting” not just me but a whole population, Pornhub has made premium free for all Italian users for the rest of the month to “help” with the confinement order.
Am I the only one who found this marketing move kinda funny? I thought I’d inform you guys of this little gem as I don’t know how much the news circulated outside of the Italian web.

Uhh, my work is drowning us in (fairly useful) news via emails and videos from our CEO. Lots of handshaking and close interaction in my industry which has (hilariously) devolved into 50 year old crotchety redneck conservatives elbow bumping each other (as if that’s any better)
Companies down the street are requiring daily thermometer tests, anything over 103 being mandatory 30-60 day suspension without pay.
All restaurants shut down last Friday at 5, only allowed to open for carry out or delivery.
No toilet paper?? Like… in 200 square miles, literally not 1 fucking roll of toilet paper???
My 401K has taken a titanic sized shit.
Also, just had the first confirmed case in my town.

My uncle lives in Venezuela. He said once it hits, he anticipates internet, electricity and water going out for a while. He’s ready - the school he teaches at is well prepared and takes good care of their staff, but it doesn’t sound fun!

In france it is a big shit, jungle, for the nurse and so on it is really difficult, peoples start to steal some car of nurse and hospital for mask.
French don’t give a fuck of the virus, police everywhere and so on, peoples go oustide to much time, they don’t understand, a lot of people work, my brother and so on, the busniess don’t want make a break
