I wonder how many people aren’t dying due to work accidents, murders, car wrecks and such.
Italy lost 812 people to coronavirus yesterday. They’ll likely to lose similar again tomorrow. The answer to your question is “far less than 812”.
Keeping this thread on-topic, it sure seems like the area females are going into heat. Other local sources confirm a giant uptick in memes being shared to let people know that they’re horny. DM’s are firing off too, a couple from girls I barely know from when I was a bouncer.
I think we are seeing some shifting dating priorities because of this. After riding an unprecedented 20 year high, weak and unemployed fuckboys who can’t provide or protect are seeing their dating stocks tumble.
If a person was known to have the virus, should they be allowed to go out into society as normal?
Do you think that this virus is not dangerous enough to warrant the current level of societal reaction?
Allowed to? Yes. Should they? No.
I don’t think this virus is dangerous enough to warrant executive orders that can result in jail time, no.
You honestly trust people to “do the right thing” and be able to think long term? Seriously? We are an obese nation of snowflakes. You don’t become that by doing the right thing and thinking long term.
I think we tried voluntary restrictions. And spring break partying happened, and half the country (probably more) didn’t take warnings seriously. So we had to institute more draconian measures… Which appear to be working. Unfortunately, when these measures work, and the stats show we made it through in much better shape than the worst case scenario, many people will point to the epidemic not being that bad and not warranting the level of lockdown.
I hope your area remains relatively unscathed. My area has not. And I bet your tune would change if we swapped positions.
Well, I don’t trust the government to “do the right thing” and be able to think long term either.
*Edited.
Don’t really want to argue about it. The above is just my opinion.
What the picture doesn’t tell you:
Her other cart was full of kale and chilli, because she’s the head of a pandemic death cult who vowed to die by defecation syncope and flushing themselves down the toilet.
True story.
Fair point. I think policy driven by medical doctors during a historic pandemic, especially Faucci, is something a lot different from “normal” policy.
I’m posting this exact quote on my instagram.
The APs are online and 45 minutes now so…
Does this mean with the predicted ten to 20 million (CNBC yesterday said 40-plus million) job losses, we might return to the bad old days of men being providers and women being homemakers? That would be terrible. ![]()
If weak men are broken, we might just see the opposite.
While this whole thing does suck, my wife and I are doing the best we can to take advantage of it. We miss our family and friends, but we’re keeping up with them via video call and it’s not too bad. We walk the neighborhood and work on our yard to get outta the house, and do projects inside to stay busy. Currently both working from home but I wouldn’t be shocked if we get furloughed.
I have a home gym and haven’t set foot in a public gym for 3 years so training still works, if anything it’s better because I have more time for cardio. I’ve recently really taken to playing guitar again after a hiatus, so having a hobby that’s not dependent upon other people is really helpful.
I also used the time to finish a guitar kit I bought and try to polish my skills a bit (guitar in the video is what I built). Mediocre, but damn do I have fun with it.
You built that? Sweet.
Out of a kit, but yeah. Bare body and neck (not assembled) plus a bag of parts. Probably 40 or so hours put into it. Custom wired it to my own liking, which was by far the hardest part but it paid off.
Building another body this weekend totally from scratch so we’ll see what happens.
Virginia is on lock down until June 10th, wow.
*Meant to post this in PWI…
I don’t think our (S.D.) lockdown has an end date yet but the governor has said cases are not expected to peak until early June. (And our hospitals ate barely ready for the 120 cases or so we have right now.)
The only one of my jobs I’ve been laid off from that has given a callback date or whatever has it set for 5/29.
Bet the whole country will be similar to VA.
