Fine… Thanks dude.
Actually, it has been witnessed that training my biceps as I do is smart from a theoretical and practically stance. Practically because it has worked very well, and theoretical because of how our biceps work. The biceps being a smaller muscle can’t take much of a beating, but can take them frequently. Having a good back day, followed by some biceps training the next day, has been seen to show higher activation in the biceps as well as a stronger hormonal response. This is theoretical though. You can have your opinion.
Yup! I do some light curls to warm up before bench and deadlift, but maybe I’ll start ending workouts with some AMRAP reverse grip axle bar curls.
Got that! Thanks
I’m doing a set of bicep curls like you, every day now. Thanks !
also, while I’m benching, I have my glutes slightly lifted off from the bench. But not too far away from it. I dont lift them up as I’m moving the weight up so they don’t help me lift it up from my chest but I keep it slightly off from it throughout the lift. Is that fine?
Naw, you should keep your butt on the bench. By powerlifting standards, that’s a no lift. Even if that’s no concern for you, I’m sure bridging up like that when you bench could be harmful for your back.
Look up some content on a proper bench arch and maybe that’ll keep your butt down.
