I prefer to pull sumo, I’m built better for it, I have a very strong ass and quads so I train and compete with a sumo stance. I find that it’s harder on my hips but I’m starting to gain flexibility there so it’s not as hard on my hips anymore. I do have a very strong back though, but I try to stay away from conventionals because of a sciatic nerve injury I had while I was in Iraq, the conventional deads were “the straw that broke the camels back”
