I still think tanning salons are gay. Anybody living here in San Diego should never have to use one.
Do whatever you want to do. I don’t tan but I don’t see any problem with it. If you live where it’s cold in the winter, it’s supposed to help you feel better. Seasonal depression blows.
Last I read, tanning beds were ranked up with cigarettes as far as carcinogenic risk goes.

I spend a lot of time outdoors in a t-shirt, I mostly tan to keep my torso a comparable shade to my forearms. Maybe once a week, sometimes not even that much. Just moisturize, you’ll be fine.
