I must come clean. I’m really a multiculturalist, and not just your garden variety cool music and tasty food model. Dude, I’m hard core.
I believe in:
clitoridectomies
the caste system
a renewed caliphate
burning widows on the funeral pyre
the slave trade (yes, it’s still here)
stoning women to death for adultery
covering them from head to toe
not letting them drive
honor killings
clan and tribal politics
In fact, I believe that we whould HONOR all of the exotic practices that seperate us filthy-rich, greedy, natural resource-wasting bastards from our more purely Rousseauian chums. So help me great deity(ies) that may or may not exist I do, if it doesn’t offend anyone who thinks the above are SOP, of course.
And, as chance would have it, I am a hard-core internationalist as well.
I worship at the altar of the UN because I’m a fan of babbling mini-meglomaniacs living fat off of my dime, Libyan leadership on human rights issues, intramural foodfights while thousands starve, ‘peacekeeping’ rape, prostitution and pedophilia not to mention courage under fire (Rwanda), t corruption as far as the eye can see, submitting to the will of a cabal of rogues and dictators, and general uselessness.
I’m a fan of the EU because yes, the average Jaque,Joe, Jose, Jochim needs regulations promulgated by ‘experts’ on just about everything, including how to properly wipe the fecal matter from his bottom. Those edicts will no doubt be coming shortly.
And NATO, well, I’m troubled. Isn’t that what more nuanced intellectually superior say? On one hand, it did keep the Russians out. While sublime minds where in agreement that it was gaining on the West in its standard of living and certainly on the same moral plane, it just wasn’t my cup of tea. I prefer other ways of saving precious natural resources than waiting three hours in line to buy the most basic of them (food). But please don’t take that as a value judgement. That would hurt.
