How Do I Request This?

Endocrinologist is Comitting to HRT

I’m 18 years old, and have had all the usual low testosterone symptoms which I don’t need to list. So I went to my endocrinologist, and the very first one I went to luckily admitted that I had low testosterone (my level was 278ng/dl). He is saying that he will treat me with HRT, testosterone in injection form. He wanted to run some more tests though first, so i had blood drawn, and then i meet back with him this Tuesday.

I want to request the following to my doctor, but how do I word it so that he will agree? I need evidence and advidce please:

  1. I want injectable test (should I request cyp?)

  2. I want to shoot twice per week so that my levels won’t fluctuate vs. going twice a month to him.

  3. I want to self inject.

  4. aromatase inhibitor so that my estrogen levels don’t rise.

  5. HCG immediately so that my testicles won’t shrink.

  6. I want my Testosterone levels to be in the high normal range (close to 900 if possible)

Basically, how do I get my doctor to give me weekly self injected test, hcg, anastrozole? What kind of evidence can I present?

#1 on your list should be finding out WHY you are low. Do you have a timeline for these symptoms? What additional labs did he order? There is a strong chance he will not provide you with the protocol you desire.

The doctor believes I might have Klinefelter’s syndrome. I go back to see him on Tuesday and find out if I have it or not.

IS there anyway I can get the protocol that I need? How can I convince him? It is of utmost important to get an aromatase inhibtor and HCG in conjunction with TRT…also I want weekly self injections…

Interesting. You still need to analyze way more than total testosterone before introducing any exogeneous substances. Going on TRT right now would open pandora’s box. What else did he draw?

Here’s your ammunition for HCG (print and bring to office visit)

Not sure about journal articles for arimidex. Try: All Things Male - Center for Men's Health and print the TRT protocol.

If no arimidex provided…you can order as research chemical and self-dose, but I personally do not recommend this after my experiences with this route. IMO if getting this protocol takes a lot work and even self-dosing, you need to find a better doctor. You really need a specialist. PM me with location and I might be able to help you out.

Wrong place youngster. Listen to your Doc. If you have Klinefelter’s syndrome wait for the results of the karyotype test. If it’s positive and you have a chromosome abnormality, then see a specialist.

If it ain’t genetic or a glandular issue start lifting heavy, eating right, living a good lifestyle and love’in your lady. That’s what us old bastards do.

I’m not just some kid trying to get on juice if thats what it seems. I have 278 testosterone, and I look really young, have no sex drive, difficulty gaining muscle, etc.

Dude, I looked at all of your posts before I responded, including the SAMA ones. All I’m saying is this is not the place. If your doc thinks you have Klinefelters, then listen carefully and see a specialist. You won’t get the right advice here.

The doctor I am seeing IS a Endocrinology/Diabetes/Metabolism specialist.

Well then, you are in good hands and I wish you the very best.
