update:
so I’ve now spoke to the local officials. They say he has a non infectious form of TB and does not pose significant risk to the housemates.
I personally think this is untrue as he has lied to me about his symtoms, and may have lied to the doctor.
additionally, I’ve sneezed blood twice now since my first post (although i may have just had very slight nose bleeds). The first time I spoke to the Drs they were dismissive. If i don’t feel well I’ll go in over the weekend, and insist on tests.
As its a slow reproducing bacteria, if I do have TB I’ve had it in me months before my first post, although there certainly is the chance that I’ve just had two very small nose bleeds.
Unfortunately were all named on the lease of the house, so he can’t just be kicked out. The lease ends at the end of june, so if I am fine the risk of infection will go away.
