I mean we’re not talking about training or nutrition here… its the guy’s looks. Or… are you saying you are a good judge of male hotness now? Is ProteinPowda not the kind of guy you look for?

No, I don’t think I’m being too hard on him at all. I’m simply calling him out. He likes to slip as much in on these forums about himself constantly. Pictures every 2 minutes, subjects that focus on himself as much as possible, his incredibly high hotness ratings, etc. I’d say we have a self-esteem issue.

Yeah, it was a joke. I make jokes more for my amusement then anything else so you can excuse me if you weren’t entertained by it.
Personally, judging by what I can tell of his attitude and personality, I don’t think he’s intentionally trying to “slip things in”. Is it subconcious? Is it something that just inadvertantly happens? Maybe he thinks he’s adding to the conversation? I don’t know. I just don’t see anything malicious or sneaky about it, that you seem to.
As for judging men, fact is, no I can’t really look at a guy and say whether he’s “hot or not” physically or due to facial features. I can and do judge clothing choices, hair styles, and the way one carries oneself, but its not the same thing as saying “hey his face looks cute”.
Fuck this shit…this is one of the things that really pisses me off…when people start unfounded personal attacks.
Yes I have an ego, sorry Mr. Peter Keating. But in addition to that a wide majority of my posts are geared towards helping others. So what if I like to post pics; I’m obviously not doing that for an ego boost b/c I know how they will be received on this site for now. I consider this site an inlet for constrcutive criticism, and demonstration. if you don’t lke that…well that’s too bad. I personally have no issues with your Randamn b/c I don’t know anything about you other than your fondness for a certain purple dinosoar. But hey…you don’t see me making any Barney jokes. I took what you guys told me about my pics and STRIVED to make a difference and apply it to my non-weight-lifting life. Apparently though a person is gauged by by the number of pictures they post…not by the material they learn, the attempt to better themslves and help others along the way. I try and help people on this site b/c I’m a selfish bastard and I dervive pleasure in helping others.
Just like Zeb doesn’t need to post pictures to prove himself (he has already a million times over), I don’t really care to prove myself on this site outside of the lifting community. Do you honestly want more pics of me when I’m not flexing or am looking a bit more normal? Maybe I should start another thread and call it “Hard-Styled Side.”
So please don’t make attacks or try to call anyone out…I gave evidence for my claim, and that should be that. I have not done anything here to discredit myself to the point where I should have to justify anything I say.

Alright dude. Yes, maybe I was a little harsh. Some times I’m a downright asshole. I will admit this. You do try to help people out on here and you do write some funny stuff. BUT, I’m still calling it like I see it and you do seem to bait the T-Nation audience for attention quite often.
I’m not the only one who notices this. I remember a recent thread where people were mimicking other T-Nationer’s posting styles and yours was “me me me me me me dog me me me”. I generally think you are a good guy from what I’ve read but sometimes you just come across a little over the top for the attention.

It’s a fucking dinosaur. It doesn’t stand out to me as attention grabbing. It definitely doesn’t compare to proteinpowda’s constant injections of “wait…everyone forgot about me!!”. If having a simple avatar is seen by you as attention grabbing, then you just labeled 90% of the people in this forum as such. On some level, it may even be true, however, it is completely out of context in this thread.
The difference between an avatar and posting numerous pictures of yourself is with the avatar, you set it once and you leave it, its there from now on. No more effort, nothing. Posting pictures of yourself over and over again (nothing against PP) requires effort and thinking “hmm, should I post this picture of myself? Or this picture of myself?” Thats my opinion.
And also in my opinion, I think randman’s avatar is fucking hilarious. I may even vote his avatar as the best. Well, 2nd best, behind T-Matt (i think thats who it is) with the chick rubbing her breasts. Mmmmmmmmm, I’m gonna go find one of his posts.
