Didn’t see one, so I figure we needs one.
Any recommendations for something really hot with great flavor? I’m getting tired of the weakness that is Frank’s Extra Hot.

Chipotle Tabasco

El Yucateco habanero.
sriracha
chipotle tabasco seems to have become real popular lately. I still like the traditional stuff sometimes.
I find that really spicy foods slow down my digestion, so I try not to eat them very often. Bland foods mean faster gastric emptying, good for freeing you up for the next meal, in my personal experience. Doesn’t have to mean boring boiled chicken breasts (I like cooking with spices as much as anybody) but really hot food is something I limit to occasional cheat type meals.

Busha Browne’s Pukka Hot Sauce.
I have been putting this on my chicken breasts for the past 5 years or so. Soooo good, the flavor is just amazing and it has a good kick. The rare occasion I eat pasta or pizza I also throw this on, and its just incredible.
For wings, KFC chicken, I like good old Frank’s red hot. For my eggs I use regular tabasco.
The Green tabasco and the Chipolte are also good, but I find I have to use too much, and its just not very economical when a few drops of the regluar will do.
Don’t know if you can get this in America, its good stuff.
edit: stupid pic cant load…but its Encona hot sauce.

If there’s an Asian grocery near you it might be worth checking out their sauce section. There’s seriously a massive amount of hot sauces in those aisles. Sometimes it’s fun to just pick one randomly and try it but if you really want hot (I mean real hot) try their chili oils.

I’d love to try your chili oil.

I don’t trust Asian stores anymore.
Ever since the Great Fish Sauce Debacle of '06.
NEVER AGAIN.

Haha, understood. Some of them can be seedy, but there’s some good stuff to be had if you know what you’re looking for.
its not really that hot but I love Franks Red Hot sauce… its like buffalo wings sauce. I pretty much put it on everything

It really isn’t good on anything but wings and pizza.
And it’s too fruity, not enough hotty.
Frank’s Hot Buffalo Wing sauce is awesome on everything. Cholula is good stuff too - I’ve downing a bunch of the chili lime cholula lately.
^^Hell yeah! You have good taste in… well taste i guess. Theres also a garlic cholula thats pretty good! I’ll have to try the chili lime one

No. Frank’s tastes like shit on anything but wings or pizza, on which it is amazing.
Everything else, awful.
Tobasco Chipotle is outstanding.
Valentina!
Nothing beats franks especially the 0 carb 0 cal
Try the Dave’s Insanity Sauce line. They have sauces that range from really tasty with a little heat to worst idea you’ve ever had.
