Hormone Support/Anti E (Possible Estrogen Problem)

Im looking for some things to battle estrogen in my body, I believe that I have a problem with Estrogen of some kind(within the last 2 years it has shown itself) because I have tissue under my nipples that is pretty tough, and sensitive to the touch(definitely not fat), Since I noticed this i had decided to lose some weight, and i had lost about thirty pounds(all I did was quit eating so much fast food, and started only drinking water, I wasnt fat in the first place,I can see the outline of my abs all year round, sometimes they just look a little less defined than other times.

I think some of the weight I lost was mostly fluid, i can lose ten pounds in a workout usually, and I had lost about thirty pounds ( i usually hover around 270, i got down to 245, and noticed absolutely no difference in my chest at all)( im a heavyweight wrestler, so I have to keep a baseline weight during the season, or im going to get thrown around like a ragdoll, once im done wrestling i plan on dropping some muscle and getting down to around 220 for health and joint reasons) BUT anyway back to the point, I never take anything for hormone support.

Ive read stuff about serms, and estrogen blockers, etc etc, and Ive also read if u take the stuff wrong it can cause all sorts of problems. I eat a fairly clean diet( mostly vegetarian stuff with craptons of chicken thrown in for protein) , and I work out on average for two hours a day (between lifting and cardio).

I am basically asking what would be a supplement that i can take year round, that would keep my estrogen levels under control, and suppress them and thier effects, as much as possible, without causing damage in other departments( such as memory or estrogen rebound, or insensitivity to other hormones etc etc). Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.

From experience, you can’t beat RezV offered here. Brought down my E2 significantly

Good shit man, thanks.

You need a blood test. Dealing with hormones is an extremely complex ordeal. Don’t shoot in the dark. Get informed.

It is not necessarily estrogen that’s the problem (although it might), but it could also be a high prolactin. Which would be a whole other story as how to influence it. Since eating releases endogenous opiates in the brain, which in turn trigger the release of prolactin, you might try a stricter diet or even a fast for a few days. I recently fasted for a week straight and my nipples became much smaller than before (at least temporary).

Have you done blood work?

How did you manage to fast for an entire week and not go crazy ?

Not that hard after the first few days. The hunger is not that bad since the body adapts to it quickly. Worse is missing the sensation of eating, really makes you appreciate that food is usually all around us.

I find it also somehow clears the mind, maybe from the absence of endorphines which are release from eating.

The OP seems to have not returned but you would definitely want to do blood work as noted above and also check into cortisol and insulin, which will they translate into thyroid which will give a better picture of what is happening with E & T.
If cortisol goes out of whack you can bet that other hormones are soon too follow. Sounds like you were not being the healthiest anyways, don’t know if you were on any kind of test supplement or medication (or other medications for that matter) but usually hard mass under the nipple is going to be caused by that. Fat mass is different from glandular mass and has different causes.

Maxi: There have been several people recorded doing 30-40 day water fasts. Of course there are the “sun drinkers” too who claim to go longer, usually over a year, some times several years.

Instead of assuming you have an estrogen imbalance and then blindly trying to fix it (spending tons of money and likely making the problem worse) find someone who can tell you for sure. A great company known as Functional Diagnostic Nutrition does this through saliva and urine samples, no blood work required. If it isn’t estrogen, these people can tell you what it is.
