First of all im just a regular dude, im currently not even going to the gym, I just took a test for general health purposes because I feel tired most likely due having an incredibly shitty schelude (I work from home so I have my own schelude which means I work at night until like 5 am and wake up whenever I feel like it). I also don’t get barely any sun.
Anyway here’s my results, thyroids, what worries me is that I got high antibodies for TPO and anti-thyrogloblulin:
TPO is 74, ranges are 0 - 12
anti-thyrogloblulin is 88.5, ranges are 0 - 18
TSI was 0.82 and range is 0 - 1.75 so this one seems normal
TSH is 4.17
thyroglobulin is very low, less than 1 (<1) while range is 1 1 - 59.00
I have touched my neck looking for any lumps and shit and I can’t find anything odd, except on the left side when I put my tongue on the roof of the mouth and press hard (what some call “mewing”) the left side sticks out more than the right side, but I reckon this has been like this for ages and that is just that I have assymetrical developed muscles in there. However i will check with an ecography next week.
Other things which are wrong:
prolactin is 40, range is 2.5 - 16.5
DHEA is 14, range is 1.5 - 13.5
androstendione is 5.17, range is 0.4 - 3.70
ACTH is 68.2, range is 7.00 - 63.00
morning basal cortisol is 300, range is 70 - 250
noradrenaline is 434, range is 0 - 420
basal insuline is 5.4, range is 6 - 25
Those are the ones that came out of range. Symtphons are a bit of a brain fog, thyredness in the morning, etc.
My scalp also itches and my hair is falling. I started minoxidil and topical finasteride (a foam with both) years ago. My DHT years ago was around 1.50, now it’s 0.27. My prolactin was 6 back then, now it’s 40… looks like the foam may have had systemic impact. However I have no side effects. My sympthons are the same as years ago when I started this treatment. I wonder why some people get systemic impact and some don’t with this product. This foam helps me a bit with the scalp itch so that’s why I keep using it, however my hairloss hasn’t been completely stopped.
Finally, my vitamin D levels:
OH-25 is 20.3, “enough” range is around 30-100
D-1,25 is 27, range is 25-66
so both vitamin D markers came in on the lower end, as I expected looks like i have to start sunbathing. Is 15 minutes of sun enough? I have a good phenotype for sun (black hair etc) I can tan easily if I get to it but I haven’t been in the pool/beach having a proper sunbath since I was a kid (which I felt great back then)
finally my test levels:
total test is 4.9, range is 1.6 - 8.5
free test is 11.2, range is 6.6 - 42.5
Anyway, what do you guys reckon of all of this? What steps should I take next to improve my situation? I definitely need to make changes on my lifestyle, namely, waking up early, going to the gym if only to swim in the pool and get a sunbath, going back to bed earlier. I think should improve some. However the peak in prolactin, cortisol and thyroid antibodies worries me as something beyond lifestyle. I take euthyrox 75mcg. The docs seems like they don’t even care about antibodies and diagnose it as “autoinmune disease” and they just give you the pills and keep raising the dose until your TSH stabilizes. Since my TSH shows up in range they don’t do much about it. Anyway lets see if someone here has some ideas.
