Sharp little claws kitty.

Blending and screens and enzymesā€¦ probably a million ways to tryā€¦

how FUNCTIONAL a food isā€¦ we all know real food is vastly MORE functional than any powder, just wondering if anyone has tried this or heard of somethingā€¦ also wondering how much better than powder it could be

Chicken jerky?

Edit: NM, I see Iā€™m late to the party.

Cheese making.

You could try that! The byproduct is whey protein.

Thats like a double win. You get the casien in the curd, and the whey drains out.

Thats fresh whey.

Or cottage cheese. Thats like halfway done already.

@Tiny_Arms why are you here?

My doggos LOVE this shit!

Just gotta get this out there.

Aminos are not protein. Protein is made of amino acids, but that doesnā€™t make amino acids the same as protein. If you look at an AA or BCAA supplement youā€™ll see they are basically zero calories.

Also, since you bring up vegetable protein itā€™s important to recognize that almost all vegetable proteins are incomplete, with a few exceptions.

Lets bring this back to the chicken breastā€¦ fda has 22g protein and 74g water in 100g raw breastā€¦ this issue is much less ā†’ how MUCH proteinā€¦ and more so ā†’ HOW does your body get to the AMINOSā€¦

Your gut has to break all the thick chicken muscle down, denature the large proteins and send the aminos to your liver, your liver then has to reassemble the aminos into protein our body can useā€¦ SO wouldnā€™t it be much faster (and possibly even more functional) to stick in the aminos from the chicken breast in the first place??

Im here to get information, see if anyone has attempted to extract aminos from foodā€¦ and see if anyone knows of fresh protein extracts.

I shopped around for protein supplements and did NOT find ONE protein supplement company that makes THEIR OWN PROTEINā€¦ they all ā€œsourceā€ itā€¦ so what does that mean, there are a handful of actual protein producers?

His parents ask him that every day.

Have you heard of gross stuff like Bean Curd, Tofu, Tempeh and Mung Beans?

Why, what are you trying to achieve? Your gonna buy a bunch of food and then extract the proteins and throw the rest of the food out? This is redic!!!

Who cares? What would be better about it if they made it themselves?

1.) Dehydrate 100g chicken breasts.
2.) Pulse the 36g protein in a spice grinder.
3.) Add 64g water to chicken powder to make 100g smoothie.
4.) ???
5.) Profit.

Here you go:

Now weā€™re getting creative! NICE

Its only TIME and MONEY rightā€¦ what would the NO expense spared protein look like? cā€™mon, why would Elon Musk eat the same supplements JOE Shmo gym guy eatsā€¦

(something just seems wrong that we accept that 5 mfg make all the protein available?? PROTEIN, were talking the #1 most important thing in mps, not to mention all life on this planet as we know it, aka amino acids)

Pat Casey managed to bench 615lbs in a t-shirt in 1967 by eating meatloaf sandwiches slathered in mayo during workouts.

I think youā€™re overthinking this.

Wondering why nothing exists like this conceptā€¦

Someone once said ā€œif no one is doing it, theres a reasonā€ā€¦ Im just hoping the reason is NOT that its too expensive and someone cant make money on itā€¦ NOT acceptable! There could be huge benefits in medical and other industries with the right investment, is all im thinkingā€¦ aminos are the foundation of life on this planet as we know it, seems important no?

It all exists. We make and sell many of the things you seem to be talking about on this website. But you refuse to accept that because of your odd ideas about ā€œfreshnessā€ and or because we donā€™t go buy a two-billion dollar factory. Also, you have little-to-no real understanding of proteins, aminos, and basic physiology. (Have you read a single article on this site? Be honest.)

But I assume youā€™re a mildly autistic but very curious and enthusiastic teenager, so Iā€™ll give you a break.
