Homemade Muscle Cookie/Bar Recipes?

Does anyone have good recipes for cookies or bars? I was thinking about making traditional choclate chip cookies but replacing the vegetable oil with flax seed oil and replacing the choclate chips with choclate muscle milk.

just use any peanut butter cookie recipe

use natural peanut butter instead of the usual PB

use egg whites instead of the wole egg

add protein to the mix

and the flax/vegetable oil sounds good

That sounds great, but I’ve heard flax oil shouldn’t be heated.

what about coconut oil or macadamia nut oil?

yeah, that sounds even better

i’m heading to kroger after work now lol

what do you guys think of adding oats to the mix for some fiber?

oats are great. I like crushed mixed nuts too. I heard adding superfood may be good. Tell us how it works out.

coconut oil is great and can tolerate heat and it’s awesome for you.

Here’s one.

Flax cookies

1 scoop protein powder; 2 tbsp flaxseed meal; 1 tbsp natural peanut butter, just enough water to make a paste

bake for 7-8 minutes @ 300 (they’ll come out soft, and chewy).

I’ve made these a couple times now. They’re pretty good. You can substitute peanut butter with any other nut butter, add whole nuts, etc. The possibilities are endless.
