Purple panda responded and said they add BA, BB, and test c, then heat till clear…then add the carrier oil. They also said they use 28% BB! Anyone else go this high with BB?
My first batch, but my son has made a few thousand vials and never seen this before. It’s like the test won’t suspend. All glass was cleaned with 91% alcohol and rinsed with distilled water before being baked at 350° for 4 hours. Added BA to graduated cylinder, then BB, then MCT. Transferred to the flask shown and added 51.09g test cyp (overage to account for loss of purity). Placed on automatic stirrer and it never suspended past what you see in the pic. Tried with heat and without. Looks like about 10-15g still in powder form at the bottom of the flask. Any ideas on this and could it be salvaged?
Negative… My son was telling me he’s put it on heat before and it cleared up 15 to 20 minutes. We ran this for an hour on heat constantly stirring towards the end of The issue but never got any clarity.
I would try a micro batch and either add a desiccant pouch to the raw, or gently place in an oven to bake out any moisture and see if that clears it up.
The zip lock came almost vacuum packed double bagged and had a few chunks that I just equated to being pressed…maybe it was moisture. What temp would I bake at? Super low, 100° like a food dehydrator?
Nothing melted…the pic you see is how it looked from beginning to end. My son said he’d never seen it before and he has literally made thousands of vials over the years. We’re gonna add 2% bb at a time and heat it back up to see if it will suspend. I’ll go as high as the 28% told to me by the supplier and hopefully it won’t need that much. We’ll run a smaller 10g batch time to see what happens…I’ve only got 50g left and the supplier said it’ll be weeks before they’re stocked again.
I want to say its from impurities but i dont know. I was having some issues with mine and found out a whole lot of nothing when i looked into it. Only that my raws smell kinda sorta sweet or something and that it didnt recrystalize as quickly as was supposed to
I found An old thread on meso Where someone had a very similar issue. He narrowed it down to the Choice of BB. While it was 99.9%, it wasn’t USP, and he noticed it was thicker than A previous purchase. I did a little digging, and from what I understand BB It’s supposed to be fairly thin and mine was more like a syrup. Med supply lab was out of stock so I got what I could but now it’s back in stock and I’m gonna order from them and see if that does anything
I found an old thread on meso And think I may have narrowed it down to BB Issues. I couldn’t get USP grade from mid lab supply so I got another brand and it was more like a syrup and from what I understand it’s supposed to be very thin. Gonna order from Midland supply now that it’s back in stock and give it another go with the same recipe In procedurethat panda uses. I got 40 mL from them of 250 test C and it’s dang near crystal clear with no pip so far. Gonna do a 10 g batch since I only have about 55 g left
