no, boss, I meant how well are you recovering? for myself, I can’t imagine hitting the gym within 3 days of a workout like the bench/dead superset party you had…

Rack pulls and board press tonight. I’m going to stick with 10 sets for 1-3 reps for a month or so with minimal assistance exercises.

I second that…but I think he’s already gone past stupid strong and heading towards insane.

Thanks for the support. DZ, Bunny is headed toward insane strong.

3/24
A1. rack pull 550 2 sets 2 reps
A2. 5 board press 2 sets 2 reps

Felt strong but had to cut things short. One of my sons dinner resurfaced and the wife was calling for my help. Try to make up for this tonight.

3/25
box squat 275 10 sets 2 reps
stiff dead 275x8,8,8,8
side bends 80x8,8,8,8
(so much for no assis. exercises)

Loving the box squats. Definitely recommend them to anyone having squat trouble.

Just catching up, Eco. You’re having some great workouts and the alternating 2 heavy lifts looks interesting. At some point I’m going to have to break down and try the box squats.

Another push/pull meet May 31 in town. I hope to attend. My last meet results still have not been posted. Americanpowerlifting.org(not .com) is the site of this local federation-located in Manchester, NH.

A.DE bench 205 10x3
B.Rack lockouts 315x6,405x3,455x2,475x2,405x6
C1. Military press 185 5x5
C2. BB row 225 5x8

Never tried lockouts before. They really place a lot of stress on the joints as well as the muscles.

Yeah, I like 'em. I’m not set up to do board presses right now, so I often set the pins at varying heights and do sets of lockouts.

Looking strong.

You one strong sucka. I think you’re outlifting mr Bigg at the moment.

Trying to decide how to train for this meet. Have to work in the Wendler program. And a little Westside stuff.

I really stink at GMs. My back was fried with just 135. Guess I’ve found a real big hole I need to fix. Box squats still treating me right. My new favorite exercise.

3 singles at 515. I can see why you like box squats! Good lifting Eco

Eco! Wow dude! Lookin’ great! Are the rack lockouts goog for raw lifters?

Thanks Willy.
Bunny, I think the rack lockouts are the same for bench as anderson squats are for squats. They get you used to a heavier weight. I’ll let you know if they work.

Strong squatting, hell strong everything.

Holy Cow Eco, those box squats are insane Buddy. As strong as you are those GMs will come around for you.

Those are some big time box squats, Eco. Damn impressive.

Thanks everyone. I hope the box squats carry over to my deadlifts. Looking forward to working on my GMs. ME bench tonight or tomorrow.
