HOLY S#%T!!! Aw-nold, Sly and Willis - together on the beeg screen?

Sometime ago, WB began to consider remaking (or to “re-imagine” wink), “Westworld”. One of my favorite movies from the 70’s. But, I have just spotted this wonderful bit of news. Now, not sure how much weight to give this, but hey - take a read:

"From Hotdog magazine(UK).

Rumblings are beginning to emerge about the forthcoming remake of WESTWORLD, which the Austrian Oak himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger, is reportedly using as a vehicle to unite him with his Planet Hollywood mates, Messrs Willis and Stallone, for the first time on screen. After Sly bites the dust early on, effectively reducing him to cameo status, Bruce has to run like fuck from the pissed-off robot gunslinger in black, and although he may have flesh falling off him to reveal his metal skeleton, any sense of deja vu pointing towards the Terminator franchise is purely coincidental. New areas covered by the pursuit include Aquaworld, Lunarworld and Jurassic World, and in an early draft of the script, the actual holiday centre is located on the Moon. The story is contributed to The Insider. "

OHHH, but how KEWL this would be, right?!

Now that would be cool. They already have my cash if they do it. Yul Brynner was awesome in the original. Being a lady, you neglected to mention the robot whores, one of the best parts, so I will be crude on your behalf. Hope all you guys are fine – haven’t been around because we are swamped. I seem to be becoming a war profiteer of sorts.

  1. Westworld -was- cool, wasn’t it? 2. Any combination of these guys on the film screen at the same time would probably overload my brain, but in a good way.

huck: Yes, I was bein’ a lady…hee hee. But thanks for bringing that up. Hey, did you see the sequel? Futureworld, that starred Peter Fonda and Blythe Danner (Gwyneth Paltrow’s mom)? Saw that one in the theater, too. Not as good, but entertaining.

Okay, now, something to keep in mind here: IF Aw-nold, Sly, and Bruce (wish it was the REAL Bruce, though. As in, Bruce Campbell), do indeed star in this, their combined salaries would be somewhere around, oh, $60-70 million. Then after throwing in FX, CGI, pre-production, other cast members' salaries, director, marketing, etc. all that would be left for the script would be maybe, $5-bucks. So, here we'd have a $140 million dollar movie with a $5-buck script. Just a thought.
