Aside from the pack of wild coyotes and my neighbor shooting at them? Everything else is pretty tame compared to that.
I hear the occasional animal rooting around, but I always carry a lantern or am wearing a headlamp, so they stay away.

Yeah usually only truck drivers get to shower for free at those places.

This is about my desperate need to send him meat and condoms.
I would only throw baby wipes in to bribe him.

I get cell reception. Being ‘cut off’ is kinda liberating in a way. Y’all know I used to stop by here every day, so I DO miss my “'Nation time”, but there’s a lot to be said for taking a developmental detour and simplifying for a while. The new job takes a lot of time and energy, so I really only have a few hours of “free time” that is usually spent dealing with things I used to take for granted but that now require time and effort to achieve.
I’m gonna “rough it” for a while, I think. I’m learning a lot and I’m able to focus on some of my “evolutionary activities” without distraction.
