HIT me Baby one more time

I’ve been doing HIT training for a few years now. First heavy duty, then full body twice a week, following Arthur Jone’s method. Now I’m doing an upper/lower split, but I still end up overreaching and then I don’t feel good. Now after a layoff I’m trying the Fortitude Training approach. First workout today. It felt good. But I won’t be training four days a week. I’ll do a maximum of two or three workouts a week. With that said, let’s get started with the first progressive blast.

How’s the training been going man? How are you liking it? I’m also doing Fortitude through my contest prep! Are you doing the Family Man plan?

I’m following the standard 4-day plan at Volume Tier 1, but I only do two sessions each week. So, the same workout is repeated every two weeks.

I’m quite happy with the system so far. The muscle rounds, in particular, seem to trigger a lot of progress. Sometimes, I can even manage several more reps and or lift more weight in the loading sets during the next workout.

Most importantly, recovery comes afterward. I don’t have to hold back; I can always push myself to failure. Except for the pump sets, where I just aim for a good pump.

One to two more months of bulking. Then a cutting phase.
