Higher Volume Training to Match Better with Your Genetic Code

have not lost any just trying to put on 10 more pounds so i can be competitive in a natural bodybuilding pro qualifier

I think actually following the program as written would be a good place to start.

How muscular are you…?

This is a little confusing.

You JUST said you lost muscle before.

about 170 lbs. at 5’ 9.5" at 10 percent bodyfat

Care to show a picture? We’re the same height, would be interested to know what 10% looks like

I’m at the right end of the genetic bell curve (regarding fast-twitch expression), and I instinctively knew that as a young kid. I could produce exceptional levels of strength and power but struggled with maintaining repeated efforts. I had to learn to deal with my extreme wiring, and that took time and a lot of experimentation.

T Nation coaches are far wiser than I was back then, and I know they (we) can quickly steer you in the right direction. BUT we need a lot more information and good feedback from you.

Regarding your volume/intensity question: T Nation is about whatever works. Intensity and volume are two components of many that you need to manage effectively.

Your exercise-performance skill is just as important as anything. Someone skilled in exercise performance (doing reps under load) can achieve superior results on an inferior plan.

Why is that

He is kidding. In my opinion, he wants to say that many people have thought of you as another frivolous trainer who only asks questions. And now that they see you, many people may envy you :sunglasses:
