High prolactin Trt

I started on 150mg per week (75 twice per week) test enanthate 4 weeks ago.

After week one I started to mildly feel better and then started feeling worse over the next week. Mild brain fog, anxiety, puffy sore nipples, poor sleep quality. So I started taking .25mg adex with every shot. Total of .5mg per week. Two days in to adex I started feeling a little better and then started feeling worse and worse.

I ordered a test and my results are:
Cortisol: .522
Estradiol: 19
Prolactin: 24.4 (high)
Total t: 509
Shgb: 28.7
Free androgen index: 61.54
Free test: 11.6

Do I need to drop the adex and increase the test to 200mg per week? Did I prematurely jump on adex when it wasn’t needed? I do not have labs from before. Unfortunately all I tested was my total testosterone and it was 510-550 between two tests.

I did a cycle at 22 (10 years ago) and got some gyno that I mostly cleared up with letro. So this time around the puffy nipples made me paranoid so I jumped on the adex.

Today I went to an actual clinic and got full labs. I have not received those results yet. It will be a few weeks until they can get me in. In the mean time I am not sure what to do. I don’t want to just quit taking it and crash my levels and obviously my current levels are not great. I also am not sure if the prolactin is from the 150mg week trt or pre existing unfortunately.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Should prob post the test ranges. These are just numbers.

If you cranked it within a few hours of getting that test, your prolactin will be ‘artificially’ elevated. If you didn’t, P5P supplementation can be helpful, if you’re having any ED/libido issues. Otherwise, I’d probably just leave it alone.

Guys that start out overdosed usually need drugs to counter the side effects. With that said, your hormone levels are not in a steady state and you body is still trying to adapt to and ever changing hormone profile.

It sounds like based on your comments of things, getting worse and worse, you likely dropped your estrogen, low or and crashed it taking the aromatase inhibitor.

Estrogen and dopamine levels influence prolactin. Dopamine restrains the production of prolactin, while estrogen increases it.

These are my levels after I’ve been on for a month. Do you think I may be overdosed if my t levels are at 509 after a month? I was thinking maybe I am under dosed and then didn’t really need the AI.

Steady states in 42 days, not 30 days. Even then at 8 weeks levels can change dramatically without any change in dosage. It’s a big mistake to take an AI when your hormones levels are in flux, as the symptoms you typically experience are the body trying to reach equilibrium.

I don’t see how your estrogen levels could be high with a TT at 509.

I would

Looks that way
