High Liver Values

Anyone know of particular supplements that might jack up liver values? I do not drink or use any drugs nor use steroids. Just on HRT. But I did have a run of tons of medical issues, botched surgeries, internal infections, and being on way too many medicines for too long. Just cant figure out what my liver values continue to be high despite many of my other values coming back to normal over the past 4 year thankfull

Just read your other thread.
About a two years ago my liver #'s came back jacked up (mid 90’s), but I was messing around with DMSO
and test powder (long story and not worth repeating). I was also drinking a little too much
and taking Naproxen for low back issues too.

Anyway, I used Liv52 (can buy at health food stores or amazon) and it brought my #'s form the
90’s to the 40’s on the Alt and Ast tests in about 30 days. I also use an herb tea called
GET CLEAN, its made by The Republic of Tea (google it and read about it’s effects)
and I felt it made a difference. I also take a daily NAC pill alongwith extra vitamin C.
It’s supposed to enhance cellular glutathione and at my last labs my Alt and Ast were in the
mid 20’s.

Maybe those supps will help you as well. An acquaintance of mine ruins an anti aging clinic and
they offer injectable glutatathione, I will cut and paste the write up (below) he has about it. Perhaps you
could discuss getting it with your doctor.
Good Luck.

Injectable Glutathione - Glutathione is only available by Rx as an injectable (subQ) medication. It is considered the master antioxidant. Unfortunately, most Primary Care Doctors can’t even pronounce Glutathione, let alone prescribe it to you.

It is produced by the liver and is critical for detoxifying the body. As the master antioxidant, it can help eliminate free radicals which some consider the cause of aging. Certain medications can place stress on the liver decreasing glutathione levels and liver health. When the liver functions more efficiency health is improved. Lastly, improved liver functioning may help lower estrogen levels in men, which can contribute to a leaner body, improved sexual performance and protection to the prostate.

For information on how you can obtain Glutathione, send a FB message with your email address. Or you may reach us directly at info at BostonTestosterone com

Funny I get IVs with 3000mg Glutathione dumped right into a vein about once a week. I also take NAC a few times a day with ALA, C, CoQ10 from Designs for Health. I think I am on tons of the supplements that would be used for a liver cleanse. And if Glutathione helps, I am getting it in IVs straight in the vein in high dose.

I wonder if there is a specific supplement I am on jacking them up, because I really do not want to go cold turkey on all my supplements knowing many of them helped pull me out of the gutter from medical issues. My labs used to be horrific all the way around, everything steadily improved but the liver values.

I took the Liv52 stuff way back in college I think. Ill look into it again try to see what the ingredients are and if I am already taking some of the same in other supps. If not might as well get on it. Heck you drastically lowered you numbers!

Something is putting stress on your liver, be it supplements, something in your diet,
or perhaps some sort of disease or metabolic disorder.
Has your doc considered fatty liver disease ? I know you aren’t fat,
but it happens to a lot of people that are in shape. It puts huge stress on your liver.

How often do you get tested ?
Perhaps you can subtract one supplement at a time and then retest after a couple weeks.

Liv52 worked very well for me, and from my reading and research its the holy grail
of liver support supplements of AAS users.

Ive been tested for so many diseases over the years…no one has found any…I really think it must be a supplement I am taking…or maybe I take too much? Or maybe I shouldnt even get so many Vitamin IVs?

I ate tons of crappy food for past few months before blood work, like tons of fast food…tons of stress finishing grad school, moving, workers comp hassles, ministry trips…if I was pounding fast food for a few months and soda pop could that jack me up?? I stay lean because I train my nuts off even when I do eat crappy…but finally this week started cooking chicken and beef again and shakes as my primary meals

He is going to order the scan or what not…and Im sure do labs again…

Hard to say whats causing it, but something you are taking is stressing it.
Perhaps give you up your supps and eat clean for a month and retest.

Giving up supps for a month would be hard…too long to explain but supps helped me go from near dead to where I am now, from all sorts of issues caused by docs to my immune and digestive systems…but I need to figure out the liver thing
