High Fat Diet Choices?

Hi all,

I’ve recently cut 26lbs in 12 weeks had a week off and am starting back.

I liked the look of OVT and was going to use it within the parameters of The Beast Evolves article by Thibs.

I’m estimating my calories based on a bodyweight of 238lbs (I’m currently 310lbs and about 30% fat).

Protein at 1.5g/lb of BW is 357g and in Thibs program fat and protein calories are equal so that’s 158g of fat.Carbs are 30g/day though todays were 60g ish.

My queries are - does this sound like a lot of fat? And what sources would you use?

Fatty cuts of meat (eat the skin!).
Grass-fed butter (Kerrygold) or Ghee.
Eggs.
Avocados.
Coconut Oil.
Olive Oil.
Red Palm Oil.
Some nuts.

Thanks! What about whipping cream in coffee or is that a really bad choice?

Looking at my numbers I think basing off of 220 lbs might be better - even at that realistically I may not have that much muscle on me. Maybe its better to not be hungry for the first couple of weeks and adjust on the fly when I weigh myself again.

cashews

original/full fat greek yoghurt

Macadamias.

Lots of macadamias.

Thanks guys.

Just hit under 3000calories today - I really don’t have much of an appetite lol.

Eating junk calories - no problem! Actual food - difficult. Respect to those who pack away huge amounts of food per day.

Its been a good wakeup call today as to my previous eating habits. I’ll split my macros up better between 5 or 6 meals. The nuts are a good call being nutrient dense. Bought some olive oil today as well. Two of my meals today were shakes (a lot of scoops of protein) and it really didn’t agree with me so planning for tomorrow is essential.

Thanks again.
