High Body Fat - Bulk Anyway?

Step 1. Relax about all this. Eating is part of life and is something you’re always going to have to do. You need to come to terms with that.

Step 2. Pick a simple training plan, and implement it. Pick a good one, then don’t question it, don’t modify it, don’t even think about it. Just pour yourself into it for at least the next six months. If you focus on performance, your physique will fall into place.

That should take care of your training/nutrition…as for everything else, I hope you are seeing someone that can help you.

All the best.

Learn Patience your only 16 and have a long way to go. Also like ramo said relax. Prof X and some others gave you good advice so pick which ones you do like and try them. You said you know what you were doing was wrong but what your doing now is still wrong learn from your mistakes.

If you want to get really meticulous start reading and learning everything you can about nutrition (not dieting) and actually start counting your calories, or hire a Personal Trainer 'cause I’m sure any of them would be glad to take your money…

Guess who you are (minus the pictures)…

Patience, good cean bodybuilding diet and smart training program is all you need.
Start a training and diet log and you’ll get accountability and feedback.

Stop overanalyzing this stuff.

Just to be clear, I have been training since March, as I said, and since I was new to lifting, I had help. So I do not need to worry about training so much; I already have a good routine down.

Also, I have been counting my calories. I used to be quite inaccurate since I, at first, just tried to remember what the labels said and get an estimate in my head of the daily total, but after about a week of that I started to get tired of worrying if I was right or not and started using www.fitday.com.

Pretty good site; sometimes the nutrition facts are innacurate, but it lets you edit them.

Hey man. Very good thing that you asked the question. You’re young as hell, all this shit can be remedied if you follow the good advice here (i know). Bottom line- you have to eat every day, and to have a good body, do some exercise most days. These are constants. Ever stopped breathing? Well that won’t improve your physique either. Start now, the journey of a lifetime needs a first step, keep on and have faith mate. Set incremental goals, smash these goals each time and you’ll feel good, and progress. Don’t overanalyse (read the new dan john article), just do it and you will feel happier soon. Every one of us wasn’t as good as we are. Then we did something, so can you

A few things:

  1. You’re 16. Don’t even think about taking supplements like HOT-ROX. HOT-ROX works well, but it ain’t no magic pill. At your age, your body will eventually gain back the metabolism it SHOULD have. But like everyone here is saying, it will take some time.

  2. EAT! I suggest eating about 6 times a day so your metabolism is constantly working. Obviously, don’t eat 6 huge meals.

  3. Listen to everyone who’s posted. You have two years till college, and you want to be in good shape once you get to college. Trust me

Good luck man. I’m right there with ya (as far as beginning a new life).
